Man it would be absolutely killer to get some of these with the production value of a no rolls barred episode
Place your bets! What is the first cursed item they touch?! 😂
...what the hell happened in this adventure?
Masterwork de-liceing from the good comrade doctor
This was great. I just can't figure out why the children were taken.
I remember hearing about this podcast a couple years ago & failed to subscribe. I have corrected this egregious error & will now listen to each episode multiple times as penance for my crimes.
"You'll blow us back to the Tsardom."😂
The addition of Jeany Spark is wonderful! I’ve really enjoyed this story (even if it’s a bit too real at times :) )
This series was my intro to your channel and oh boy, what a one shot. Is all your content on TH-cam or is some only on podcast apps?
We try to keep everything on TH-cam but the automatic upload system doesn't always work perfectly. We find podcast apps more reliable. We have some exclusive content available on Patreon as well!
The outtakes at the end we hysterical! 💜
Really enjoyed the cosy crime vibe, itv would have jump on this!
After this first episode, I’m hoping for a bad ending for Al for some reason…😂😂
I love how “cosy murder club goes on holiday” this is! 💜
Seven-layer lasagna sounds incredible!
I really want to listen and like it but I can't hardly make out the words with the too loud music and sfx :( I find my constantly tapping back 20 secs to relisten. I appreciate the effort but it's just a tad loud.
Sorry to hear that, we are constantly trying to get the balance right!
HECK YEAH. I’ve been really enjoying this one, and now I have something to listen to at work!! 🔥
Enjoy!
Watch out for those albino penguins!
I love the Danon adverts 😂
It really is a Welcome to Nightvale town!💜
I'm surprised the views are so low, surely you guys must be more popular on other platforms then. This is great!
We're primarily found on podcast apps, still getting our heads round TH-cam. Please spread the word!
“You don’t grab Rust Steel!”… “Nah, you’d get tetanus.” 😂
The playlist is in reverse order
Thanks, good spot. Should be fixed!
/SPOILER/ Even though the 3 players survived and technically won? It really doesn't feel like a win. This feels very Call of Cthulu 😅 Well done guys! Really loving these adventures.
I'm really enjoying the constant paranoia between the players. The anticipation for what will come at night fall is killing me... I hope it lasts! :D
The peoples’ deformed rabbit… in-a-box! 😂
Hi, please reorder the playlist, it's playing in reverse order.
I’m loving the unhinged excerpts at the ends of the episodes! 🤣
These are fantastic. I am headed straight to my podcast app to get more!
This Playlist is in the opposite order, starting at the end and going to the beginning.
Man, these episodes with Dom as keeper escalate so fucking fast.
Absolutely loved this adventure, the characters all had so many bleak little British-isms that made them feel so much more mundane and real, and the OccSoc gave a good reason as to how they could rationalise all of it. A disorientating ending with no clear winners, peak Apocalypse players! Thank you all so much, please keep up the quality work <3
Absolutely brilliant!💜
Fascinating. Have you heard of Pygmalion?
1:03:32 more like a crack’d team!
Its so ominous when you find an episode labelled after a character.
That final line is just chilling. Last thing you want for CoC is bloodthirsty OGPU around.
Do you prefer people listening here or Spotify?
Sorry, I'm 12 minutes in, but do these guys seriously not know about Mythos Ghouls?
28.01 minutes in, and I'm beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together. I'm gonna write down what I think, as of this moment, and see how right I am later. Spoilers Ahead. The 'Scarecrows' are the Smugglers, warped by some strange power that has affected the fossils. It might be a Color out of Space situation, or something else, just something you can tap into the power of. These Smugglers used this power to essentially become a cult and transformed themselves into Eternal Guardians because their treasure is still out there somewhere, buried. In fact, I think it's buried underneath the Church, and the Church, with its Owl symbolism, is their locus. The Crowes might be descended from these Smugglers, or might be a group of outsiders (Owls and Crows, an eternal rivalry). They possess a Hand of Glory, made from one of the Smugglers' hands, which can force sleep upon those in its presence when used as a candle. I think they want whatever power the Smugglers came across for themselves. They have a bit of it; I think they transformed their own son into a Scarecrow after his death but it's all not quite right. Robert came across all of this, but hasn't quite understood all of what's happening. Regardless, the Crowes have killed him and hidden his body as they continue to work towards their plan.
Really enjoyed this adventure! Please reverse the playlist, it currently starts with the last episode :)
13:23 nice Matrix reference!
Running this soon, doing my homework.
That was a great Ed Win impression for Walter! ❤
"He's gone mad before he's gone mad. What on earth is going to happen when he actually goes mad???" is just such a perfect moment!
Spoiler Uh-Lert Classic Color Out Of Space.
1:03:30 Roll sanity!
🐖
Great rp. Came from Mystery Quest to Chaotic Neutral to NRB and now to Apocalypse Players. Loving the work so far 👍🏽
Funny, me too.
May I ask why you don't record video for the TH-cam version of these sessions?
Another question might be why do people listen to audio-only podcasts on TH-cam! It's quite a long answer really, we do discuss it a bit in our exclusive discussion shows on Patreon. We may do it in the future, but it would be a very different product. In short, we aim for a really immersive experience which we feel is best served in audio format.
The audio format works great. It lets you imagine the characters without trying to fit the players' faces/bodies into them. Even though I’ve used other podcast apps, TH-cam has two features that bring me back: playlists and comment sections per episode 💜
Fireball, fireball! Whahahahaa!
