I have been thinking about trying out for drill team . I’m a bit nervous.

I don’t know if you’re gonna see this but I want to try out for my schools varsity drill team next year in April I was on JV freshman year and I try out for jv for my sophomore year and didn’t make do you have any other tips that would help me make varsity for my junior year?

I’m in 8th grade, I don’t really have any previous training but I REALLY love dancing and im trying out for my highschool’s drill team in April. I’m trying to learn everything I need, but as someone who doesn’t have any training, just drive, are my chances good? The director said she looked for potential overall, and I have good showmanship. I’ve tried out for dance company and scored high on artistry but about average or maybe a little bit below on technique. Does anyone have any advice for me?? It’s something I really want and will work hard for but I want to be realistic

hi do drill team prep classes teach you everything you need to know or just to help you? i have no dance experience and i really want to start in highschool.

I have only taken a few aps and 1 honors class I feel like I’m too behind and underprepared for all of this I’m still in my senior year I just saw one of my friends start classes in the best college of the state I’m so stressed I feel like a fuck up

So usually the applications that we submit to colleges usually never include our senior year because the admission usually start at the beginning of senior year?

My mom has done dance/drill team and I always wanted to do it. I’m going to be doing hip hop dancing classes if that helps at all. Thanks for the tips!🎉❤
