    Nice work and use of geo tech also smart. Overall, it saves the homeowner a lot of future headaches and money setting it on a pad of roadbase with the fabric. Concrete piers are considered a ‘foundation’ but this is far less cost and more effective. Water leaks/breaks/repairs will be much easier for future, ie. not laying in mud. House also will stay in level for many years. Very wise choice for a mobile home site.

      I'm thinking about using a woven geotextile for my driveway and mobile home, but will there be any issues with the tie down anchors getting caught up in the fabric? I guess if the Pad is packed good, the augers would pas through it OK?

    The only thing I see wrong here is learn to create a dome effect for future early water leak detections. It'll save the customer money in the long run and it's absolutely free to do if operator knows what he's doing. I do that extra for all my customers. It's what sets you apart.

    Nice setup. Just not sure how pulling a setup like that doesn’t get you busted by the DOT for being grossly over weight pulling a 20,000lb trailer. Plus hopefully you have a CDL since you are towing over 10,000lbs for hire.

    Hunting with a .223 is 100% legal where I deer hunt. If it makes you feel any better I've hunted exclusively with my AR the last three deer seasons, and have yet to have a deer take a step after the trigger is pulled. Neck shots work wonders on whitetails!

  • @cubadooba
    @cubadooba 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    223/5.56 is a bit light to ethically take down a deer don't you think. It appears to be a clean or lucky shot, however 'can' and 'should' when choosing a hunting caliber are not always mutually exclusive. I can't speak to where ever you live, but as a matter of comparision the local laws, in consultation with the wildlife conservation/hunting association, state no hunting large game with anything under .30 cal. full power rounds (for example excluding intermediate rounds such as 7.62x39).

    • @scubadiver1965

    Where can I find the 5x18? I can only find the 3x12. What so the difference between the two scopes and how much does the 5x18'cost? Also can it be mounted to a .270?

    • @r.edwards7217
      @r.edwards7217 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look online for the 5x several retailers should have them. I paid about $700 for mine. You should be good to go on a .270. I'm pretty sure they are rated up to .308. Make sure your battery cap is tight if you do get one due to the recoil from a .270.

      Honestly, as far as the digital night vision goes, this is the best I have used. And I have used both the photon 3.5x and 5x with the doubler and the UNV20 external IR. The ability to have full color during daytime usage and one touch recording sets it apart. Also, the resolution and viewing distance is better.
