This Lantern Light track is missing the piano played by Tuomas and some other instruments not played by the orchestra arranged and conducted by James Shearman.

Sounds like the auto volume for the audio track is reacting to sound or noise from the mics. Please adjust your mixer settings. In the day of orchestra track there is a long quiet section, where only a children's choir sings.

Especially for Lanternlight you really should have played the vocal version. There's enough for orchestral fans but with the benefit of Floor's extraordinary vocal performance to turn it into something very special

The audioproblems on your reaction are realy distracting , thats a shame 😢 I highly recomment to react to a full songversion of Nightwish, it gives you so much more and is much more impactfull. You could choose Lanternlight full version for the beginning. Ghost love score live at Wacken ...I guess you would all love it. I leave a like here and hope for more Nightwish ❤

There are tracks on the new record with much more elaborate orchestration. During the verses the orchestration is subdued to allow for the focus on the singing. The silent part is filled with a vocal choir.

Fix your audio guys. Music dropouts and digital pops all over the place. As for what I heard, average string runs and repeated clusters performed with average samples. It works better underneath the songs than by itself.

it can always be boiled down to a good way they said it in the show "everybody wants to save the world but nobody agrees on how" the brotherhood are themselves very oppressive and authoritarian, they believe they are above and are the ones who should be in control of everything, especially technology, some would see them as a necessary evil, some even see them as good, but the majority of people in the fallout world who live through it probably dont like them much. this is true with almost every faction in the fallout universe, from the NCR, BOS, the legion, the minutemen, etc, each faction has either a dark history and tried to clean it up a bit, or they never changed and still act in the same ways. by the time the show starts, we can see how the brotherhood has fallen pretty far, but they are still a powerful force.

8:10 _It’s a complicated organization._ Because there are many different chapters of the Brotherhood all around the US they can be either kind, helpful and protective of the less fortunate wastelanders around them (in the case of the Washington DC chapter) Or they can be xenophobic, isolationists, and violently covet pre-war tech. (In the case of the Boston/LA Chapter)

I may be getting this slightly wrong but my lore understanding is as follows: In fallout 4 the Brotherhood is on a mission on the other side of the country to save people from an oppressive faction and spread their own cause(as they see it). In the show it’s a group that has lost a lot and has had periods of isolation and is now plotting to regain dominance over the region.

Love this! Give Metallic Monks from Fallout 1 a listen if you have the chance. It's the original Brotherhood of Steel theme and it's very clear the show's theme takes a lot of inspiration from that original track. The whole Vault Archives Soundtrack from the original two games is very interesting from an audio perspective. You guys definitely nailed what the Brotherhood is just from the music itself. A military religious monk order with honorable goals and a bit of a dark side to them. The motif you all were asking what instrument it is sounds to me like very heavily modified and pitched down brass

Eivor became the co-composer for the series with John Lunn. He invited Eivor for a jam after seeing her singing on a youtube video. It became a long jam. A great musical partnership. Eivor also appears in the series at the beginning of series 5 from memory.
