It's actually really incredible what you're able to achieve, Your user Interface with the audio queues is very overwhelming for me as a sighted person but you navigate it like a champ! Those addons you use are amazing. I do wonder... Do you edit your own videos too? That must be a challenge in itself! Keep up the great work, I'm so glad youtube recommended your channel to me!

Blind and still a better player than Piratesoftware

By default you can press F1 to target yourself and F2 F3 F4 and F5 to target members of your party. You should be able to even have it as a part of the macro, for example " /cast [@party1] NameOfSpell " with @party1, @party2 being respective slots. There is also option to view "a target of my target", and not just to view but to switch to it as your target (I believe it was "F" by default but I'm not 100% sure). You could probably focus the same target as your DPS by doing "F2 F" or having it as a part of your macro. Generally speaking the icons like the skull are viewable for the entire party and pretty often used in dungeons, with their most often used meanings, skull often meaning "first target to attack", moon "mage polymorph this and noone attack it" etc., and you changing them changes them for the entire party. You probably have something akin to: "/script SetRaidTarget("target", 8);" in one of your macros that puts the skull on enemy. You can change it to other, possibly more visible (different color) icon. 1 Star (yellow) 2 Circle (orange) 3 Diamond (purple) 4 Triangle (green, pointing down) 5 Moon (light blue) 6 Square (large, blue) 7 Cross (red X) 8 Skull (large and white) If you use them to help your see things better, you could experiment with different ones (different numbers in the script). I don't have a lot of experience dealing with visually impared computer use, but if your text to speech can catch the text it is speaking and lets you modify it, there is a powerful but still relatively simple text search and replacement script coding language called Regex, meaning that it is quite likely that if you dont like something about the text spoken by text to speech (anything from bad text formatting to missing language abbreviations - be that expansion of the abbreviation or shortening it) it probably could be done quite easily, including giving you the option to modify them as you wish. I don't play world of Warcraft because of the sheer amount of information on the screen, I couldn't imagine playing it blind or visually impaired. its also so awesome to see friendly people playing games together nowadays so hope you keep having fun gaming. all the best

Hi there! I tried to send you a direct, but my wall of text got cut short! 😮 I am a fellow visually impaired gamer and citizen of Azeroth. When I was younger I found out about my degenerative eye condition and was quite the doomer about it. Over the last few years my perspective has transformed as I began to feel comfortable with a cane at night, unashamed of my shortcomings, and willing to accept help from others. I have also accepted that I can have a fun and fulfilling life no matter how much vision I have. I cannot express how much delight it brings me seeing these videos! It gives me confidence that everything will be alright. I am so happy to see other visually impaired gamers exploring the vast world of Azeroth as well as I have learned a bit about how to make my UI more accessible. Knowing there are add ons for us tells me we are not alone! There are hundreds of us if not thousands of visually PREPARED gamers. Thanks again and happy questing!

I have glaucoma and cataracs and my right eye is blind. I don't mind being asked about my eyes or vision, actually I prefer that you ask, instead of making any conclusions yourself. But weirdly enough I will never bring the topic up myself, mostly because I never even think about it myself since it's nothing out of the ordinary for me, that is, to be visually impaired. It really depends on the person, either they ask right away, or in most cases I can know them for a decade and they never ask. The most annoying thing is when people behind my back talk or laugh about it, that's when I go and confront them.
