Mine stopped working after 8 months. I can wind it fully, but the balance barely moves, then stops after a few minutes. I should have burned my cash. It would have been more enjoyable.

I've got the same one. To this day, it is still one of my favorite pieces. It is a beast for sure but wears surprisingly well. Great video!

My 6428 looks like you took a time machine back to 1980, it’s pristine. And it runs flawlessly. In fact, it made me sell my vintage Rolex Datejust automatic, 1968 and others, because it is the only watch I wear. And I wear it daily. So nice to have only one watch, that looks great and functions beautifully

I am wearing my 7002-700A I got as a gift in 95 made 1n 1992

My eyes aren't great, and I have watches with larger displays, but the blockiness (i.e., horizontally spaced blocky digits) are easier to read with my astigmatism. I also like that it isn't dainty (looking at you, F91W) or G-Shock large. I prefer round watches and the 40-41mm size, and if you don't measure the protrusions, this is a great size... as well as being light and fairly thin. It is also surprisingly tough and water resistant, handling everything I've thrown at it with aplomb. On a side note, latex paint comes off the watch with a scratch from your fingernail 😁

I just got mine in metal bracelet. It is huge. The largest wrist watch I ever wore but loving it very much. Now this replaced my Tag Heuer Link calibre 16 chronograph.

Great watch but power hungry. Takes a 371 battery which isn't really man enough for all the functions so you are doing well to get a year out of the battery. Otherwise an excellent watch.

To unstuck , the turning bezel, you can get WD-40 on a toothpick and gently put drops under the rotating bezel and rotate the bezel for about 30 seconds after each drop of WD-40

Yeh, the bezel is aftermarket. The original is darker blue. I know, I got one.

Absolutely cool watch. I still own two, having bought them as a teen. One has a failed crown as you describe, but the other is good after all these years. Thank you for the nostalgia.

The citizen Eco Drive watch is so cool. The original rubber strap can be replaced, and the 24mm lug adapter can be used to match the 24mm metal strap, which is more comfortable and beautiful to wear.🤣🤣

You could have mentioned in the beginning that the BP thing doesn't work.

That rubber strap feels unbearable on the wrist. It just digs into your skin with those creases, so adaptors are the only solution here. Ordered them for my watch too to finally feel comfortable. To that rubber strap defence - it is built that way to be worn on a wetsuit and to dig into it, so that figures. Still, for your daily use it's a big ⛔.

I was going to buy a steeldive automatic 1970 but decided on one of these for practicality £30 from argos, may still get the willard......

I have had mine for a week or so. Great watch, well worth the money. Lume is only good for a couple hours though which was disappointing. Had it in the shower, no problems. Very light on the wrist and I wear it all the time now. Second does not hit the indices but oh well.

The movement might look nice but has performed terribly for me. I much prefer my vintage Buren/Dugena microrotor movements.
