    I grew the same seeds last year. They produced large plants full of fruit. My go to brand for tomatillo seeds. BTW, you are harvesting them too late. Typically, you want to harvest before they turn yellow.

    • @WheretheYoCalsGrow
      @WheretheYoCalsGrow 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi there! The amount of tomatoes you'll need depends on their size. For Roma tomatoes, you'll need about 3-5 lbs (1.36 to 2.27 kg, if my conversion is right 😉). If you're using larger tomatoes, I’d recommend sticking closer to 3 lbs. The recipe is linked under the video in the description. Hope that helps!

      @WheretheYoCalsGrow 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @jenniferclifford4669** Thank you for taking the time to comment on this video. I’d like to address your concerns thoughtfully. Canning safety is something we take very seriously on this channel, as I’ve been canning for over 30 years. This particular recipe has been passed down in my family for generations, starting with my great-great-grandmother in Italy. It’s a tradition rooted in love, care, and experience. If you noticed something you believe is "dangerous," I’d genuinely appreciate it if you could specify what raised concern for you. That way, we can have a constructive conversation rather than jumping to conclusions. While canning methods may differ, it’s important to approach these discussions with curiosity and mutual respect. I encourage open dialogue, but I ask that comments be thoughtful and informed, especially when it comes to topics as nuanced and personal as this. I hope we can use this as an opportunity to learn from one another rather than make unfounded assumptions. Thank you again for engaging with the content, and I hope to hear your perspective in more detail. Dream Where The YoCals Grow

    Doesn’t that clove of garlic, tastes, bitter when you bite into it after you make sauce with it

    • @WheretheYoCalsGrow
      @WheretheYoCalsGrow หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @ae5116, this is Dream from *Where the YoCals Grow*! Just to clarify, everything in the recipe is blended very finely, so there aren’t any "chunks of garlic" to bite into. In my experience, cooked garlic shouldn’t taste bitter unless the clove was already bad. Raw garlic does have a sharp bite, but when cooked or roasted, it usually becomes sweeter and more flavorful. If you’re concerned about the taste, feel free to leave it out. Hope that helps! 😊

But things sit on the counter as you get ready, I have cats and dogs. I take that extra step to ensure they’re still sanitized, lol.
