With tires and a disconnected sway bar your looking at a 4 inch lift ish I would say. It's unfortunately not an exact science. If your suspension is old and worn, it's a 5 inch lift. If you have like 50k mileage and everything is tight like a tiger. Closer to a 3 inch lift. It's fairly cheap car to lifts especially because you can get springs for cheap or free from jeep peeps. The most expensive stuff will be the struts. People recommend bilstein. I do not. You're going to have the shocks and struts maxed at all times anyway, and Monroes are every bit as long and at a 3rd the price.. where in Canada are you located

The mirrors from a polo will not fit. You will need to find mirrors from a city golf which were only made for the Canadian market.

mine was from a diesel mk4 jetta but anything mk4 will fit with some cutting if its a jetta exchaust golf will just drop in

Like the heatlight? its essentually the same car with a facelift and a booty lift (hatch, bumper, light design.) As for the signel mirrors i'm not sure that was an option for mk4 but mirrors from a city gold will fit a mk4 physically you may need to wire to existing blinkers tho)

you should still be able to do it you would just need to cut a hole in the gromet there or any of the other million gromets and holes in that area unless of course your car has every single option in which case ... fuck you. JK!! I got nothing.

a regular mk4 roof rack will work, thats what i have. i did have to source some bolts to attach it but easy enought you just go to any junk yard and there should be tons available. let me know if that helps or if you need my help finding it i can see what i can find.

@melbatoast1985 sweet, yeah I got mine going in the garage for the winter. That's when I'll be lifting, modding, doing maintenance, and repainting the car, sxs winch behind the front bumper. Mine is a 03 mk4 golf tdi.

they are monroe oe struts from a mk4 vr6. longest travel for the money. bilstine are a bit longer (1/4") but they cost 3 times as more.

any exhaust from a 99 - 2005 i believe golf or gti will fit. my exhaust was off a 2002 jetta diesel that i just cut down to just after the rear axel. If you want parts for cars like our because they are very unique to the vw mythos you kinda have to try something and hope it works and if it doesn't then you learn a new skill making it fit. if you run into issues and need a hand just let me know and i'll see if I can help. 4:00 the remote wire connects to x75 the remote wire on the stereo harness is not to much a "on off" switch as it is a "on kinda off but not really" switch

@@ACB-R.C Dude, It's just a 12v signal. Connect it where ever you want that has 12v with the car running. eg, your stereo harness

this video is just a straight pipe for a tdi that i bolted up so only thing that was from amazon was the tip. but only other think i would recommend is probably some muffler hangers with a built in exhaust clamp

The front springs are off a jk front suspension. And the rear are spring from a tj front suspension. Hope this helps

Yea I just pressed it under the plastic and I didn’t have to undo the clips and risk breaking them. The only thing I would recommend for the screwing the amp to the back of the seat is make sure to use stainless sheet metal screws and under 3/4 inch long

it is literally a bolt on, just take off the panels and replace them with jetta panel no modification needed. i can make a video showing all the panels you will need if you are interested.

Brakes are easy enough to do but the speedo could be easy like a new cluster or a wiring gremlin. I wouldn't risk it my self. I only paid like 900 for mine and it has 180000km soo not sure if I just got a good deal or if that's just the price.

Actually no it definitely stayed the same speed wise. It feels like a bit torque but that could just be in my head

So it’s actually a diesel straight pipe. Basically the pipe diameter changed from 2 to 2.5. Still have cat though because Captain Planet will kick me in the nuts
