@@dedodd1456 I was looking back on the vod and this is true, it was my mistake and neither my opponent nor I noticed. Going through the motions, the nerves and stress dont let you think clearly. But will play tighter next time!

@cerekpr2728 yes I m not blaming the players I know how challenging is to play all those matches in a row ^^ and it wouldn't have change the match ^^

We are only human and make mistakes as well as the players. There’s a lot going on and I definitely missed that. We, of course, try to catch everything but aren’t perfect. Every single caster has missed something at some point. Also “At this level” is relative… I am new in the casting space and still growing and learning. Appreciate the community tuning in and and I will continue to improve my skills for better and better casting 🙂

@@RebekahQuests Yes the casters are here for casting , so talking a lot and not seeing anything ... but the judges ... it's a big misplay at this level no ? gladly this had no consequences on that match , but at some point it could have totally change the result ...

@@dedodd1456yeah, an unfortunate miss from everyone involved. Glad it didn’t have a big impact on the game, but I agree, those kinds of calls definitely can!

Also, in round 7 game 2, Rachel played a Piglet, then quested with Smee and still put the damage on him for being exerted. Smee wouldn’t have taken damage because Piglet is a captain.

"It’s like people really don’t know how to play this game." That's exactly what it actually is. I think Toronto was capped at only 1k players (unlike many that have been 2k) but I would guess about 600-700 or so of those don't really know how to play the game (at least at a high level). This means in the early rounds, you have 500 tables to choose from to stream, and probably 450 or more of them will have either 1 or 2 players that don't know what they are doing. Which means you've got a 10% chance or less to pick a table that will have a good game to be on stream.

@@Zestapeel yeah, it’s really unfortunate. I know you can’t really blame those players for being new or not knowing how to play well, but it’s just frustrating to see some very obvious misses that should be picked up on. On one hand, I love seeing new people getting into the game. On the other, I hate it, because it makes it hard for me to watch at times. I’m a pretty patient person, so I like to teach people the game at weekly leagues and stuff, but there’s one guy who just doesn’t grasp the basic concepts after playing for well over a month. Like, he still tries to ink un-inkable cards, doesn’t understand how to read the board and see when he needs to challenge and just quests all out every turn. I don’t mind helping new players, as long as they are actually trying to learn and get better at the game, if that makes sense.

Play mistakes happen, no one is perfect. But the fact that judges, who DO know that they are doing, who are meant to be there enforcing everything, especially a feature match on camera, aren't fixing the obvious misses. That's the big issue I have.

Nah hell nah. Luca never activated his effect. It’s not obvious that he actually wants to use it. Luca miss played and deserved the loss

I‘m pretty sure he was checkinh if it was a mandatory trigger or not. Its not Thats the reason the judges ruled it this way

1:18:08 yes you can see Luca says "pass" and is ready to draw his card via Diablo for Dinh's turn. he forgot to trigger the Aladdin, which isn't mandatory. *might* be more forgivable if Aladdin's effect didn't say "may", but because he rushed and quested with both and didn't take his time, it's Luca's fault. no rule sharking, he just misplayed. seems like it didn't matter though.

I agree. It was Lucas miss play. I would have have done the same and no let him banish my item all late
