The Best Point And Shoot For Under $100?
The first 500 people to use my link will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare skl.sh/graindead08241
This Pentax is one of my favourite 35mm point and shoot cameras. To really show it off, I'm comparing it to a much more expensive camera, the Yashica T4.

This Tiny Man Is A Film Camera

This tiny man is a film camera. In the 90s Action Man came in a bunch of different guises, one of them was this terrible 110 analogue camera. $20 Film Camera Challenge
มุมมอง 80Kปีที่แล้ว
I challenged myself to buy an analogue film camera for £20. 35mm, medium format, it doesn't matter, so long as it is 'decent' and is made by a somewhat respectable brand. So we are talking Canons, Pentax.....Leica? Instagram: graindead_ #filmphotography #oldcamera #analogphotography
Secret Nuclear Bunker On 35mm Film
มุมมอง 15Kปีที่แล้ว
This time we are shooting some 35mm film in a "secret nuclear bunker". Armed with a Leica M6 and Canon A1 loaded with CineStill 800t and Kodak TMax P3200, we are venturing underground to capture some fallout "vibes" and push the boundaries of mediocre film photography. #filmphotography #35mm #leica
Gravity Controlled Film Camera
มุมมอง 57Kปีที่แล้ว
Back in the 1930's film cameras like Leica and Contax were complicated and expensive. Purma looked to change things up with the 'Purma Special'. A film camera that used gravity to change the shutter speeds. Instagram: graindead_ #filmphotography #oldcamera #analogphotography Credit: Camerhack
Should You Use A 100 Year Old Camera?
มุมมอง 26Kปีที่แล้ว
I found this medium format Voigtlander camera in a thrift shop for £12. It got me thinking "how practical is it to shoot an old film camera like this?". So I loaded up some Ilford HP5 120 and headed to the beach to try and find out. Instagram: graindead_ #filmphotography #mediumformat #oldcamera
Buying 7 Olympus MJUs For The Price Of 1
มุมมอง 39Kปีที่แล้ว
Whether you're just getting started in film photography or been shooting analogue for a while, the Olympus MJU is a great 35mm film point and shoot camera. I didn't fancy paying full price for one so hit up eBay spares and repairs to see if I could get my hands on some cheap film cameras. I was surprised. Most of these cameras are perfectly useable. I like that $0.68 cent camera the best. The pictures you took looked awesome.
130 dollars now btw
Love your style of video mate, made me laugh a lot and the moving around to random locations whilst filming is great. Good shit, subscribed.
now i have another reason to go to japan
I loved this video, the way you talk about these cameras is soo hilarious :D And I want one 14 dolar camera now
I got that silver Minolta for $8.00 Canadian at a Value Village once. Used it for one week and then dropped it on a hardwood floor, immediately breaking it. My first film camera.
For 100 years old the photos actually came out pretty good
How do you know it will stop your heart? Jokes aside! I am an avid film user and also a car guy. Watched you doing car throttle for many years and just never googled any film-camera stuff so my algorithm didnt know i was into it. By chance I started looking for a mju2 to repair the mju2 i have, and bang - the google knew i was into film shit. Fast forward about a minute and my youtube feed was filled with film-shit including YOUR shit! And i'm chuffed it happend, love the content. I'd love more of the "cheap-ish" film testing. Also, why not develop yourself via DIY? I'm sure you can do better than the "valio easy 35" sponsor that EVERY film-channel uses. I WANT DIY!!!!!!11 Love the channel, and the sarcasm is spot on. Like your mom. Love from sweden aka "hasselblad country". Spoiler; Hasselblad is even more expensive here. Thanks to you ducks.

Interested in the Canon IXE. Never seen one in the wild as I thought they were only ever sold in Japan. Love the idea, but film costs more than the camera. Great video.
Yes, I love it too. But... my back is still black!
I love you content bro. You crack me up and you talk about shit i like. For sure worth the sub.
That's a great video. Subscribed
Mate your actual so funny
W video
Thank you! I have got one!! With lensshade and a green filter and the little book.... I am from The Netherlands but bought it from someone in England on Ebay in 2010 I think. You did not mention the famous designer of the outside /camera which was Raymond Loewy, He also designed locomotives... and you can recognize the round curves he also used in the camera!
Didn't know Jack had a camera channel! Love it!
Location of this shop where you buy camera?
front of your mama 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
"whats the word im looking for?..... shit"

I’ve got an FT QL! My first film camera, shot my first film on it, captured some very special and fond memories. Lovely camera, will always hold a place in my heart.

I have the Ricoh version of the first camera- its a chunky lad for sure (but so am I!) but the performance is quite nice and its really nice to hold
Jack has a film channel!?!? 🤯
I found a similar camera to the topico but had even less features but I found it for $.50. I think it was a Vivitar
13:08 The flash looks like a rx7 headlight

IDIOTPROOF LMFAO
I'm here for the first time and would probably stay for noticing something with the talking shots.
So sad these cameras now run for $85-$100+ USD 😢 once a TH-camr reviews a camera like this it shoots up in value haha. Great video though
5:35 I found a camera that takes pictures FOR FREE. Also a film camera :p
which is this store in Kyoto?
Chicks may not dig the Helios - but I did get an angry handy from what I assume was a chick after pointing out Vince Vaughn was using a Nikon F5 in the second Jurassic Park movie.
This comment is pure gold.
It does not appear to cost 16$ my friend XD, only if it's dead. Operational i only see it for 90$ minimum. All the way up to 300$+
I went to Japan and cameras were so expensive lol
careful with your Genbakantoku, i dropped mine once and it cracked the lens cover. it still works beautifully but i try to keep it dry now.
that camoflauge joke was subscriber worthy indeed! great video mate
Love your humour and your content 😂❤
