Easy DIY Roof Satellite and Antenna Removal
This is a quick and easy DIY project I did to remove the satellites and antenna that was on my roof when I moved in. I never planed to use any of these so I finally decided to remove these eye sores from my roof.

Underground Draining Kiddie Pool For Kids Pets or Livestock
มุมมอง 2.9Kปีที่แล้ว
This is an in-ground kiddie pool that I put a drain in to easily empty and refill for my ducks. You can use this same concept for filling up water for your kids, dogs, or any other animals/livestock you may have. I was tired of trying to dump the heavy water filled kiddie pool every other day and then making a mess of my yard after doing it, which is why I made this. Music from: www.bensound.com

Replace Grass With Gravel And Move Fence
มุมมอง 57K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I relocated my fence and removed my grass to replace it with gravel. I did this all while trying to reuse and recycle what I already had. Everything was done by myself so if I can do it alone, you can easily do it with a little help. I made this video so others can take ideas from this to help them out if they attempt a project like this. Music from: www.bensound.com

    How deep did you shovel like 10 inches or 2 feet. Equally important what did you do with the excess dirt ....

    • @Nuke21
      @Nuke21 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ericgrajeda2671 I believe the depth was on average 4". I used some of the dirt to fill in holes my ducks made in their fenced area and the rest I gave to a friend who wanted fill dirt for some raised garden beds. If that is not an option, I imagine you could always add dirt little by little in your regular trash bin to eventually get rid of it. Not all at once due to weight of course, or you could make one trip with a truck to the dump. I also know some people on Facebook Marketplace around my area are always looking for fill dirt also.

      Ya you're probably right. I got this pool for free from a friend that no longer wanted it which is what sparked the idea to try this for my ducks since if it didn't work I could just toss it.

    Really great tutorial , especially liked that you moved to the white table to show us the small details better. I followed all the steps and it worked phenomenally for me. Best advice on tinkering with my car was when you said referring to the clips - you said “don’t force anything”. the inclination when they get stuck is always to apply more force. So Take home message for anyone reading this, whether it’s BMW trim clips, relationships or anything in life, don’t force it, re-valuate and if necessary try again.

    Great video! What is that shut off valve called? This looks like something I could do. Is this pool still holding up for you?

    • @Nuke21
      @Nuke21 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! It is called a "2 inch PVC shut off valve". It is holding up extremely well still. If durability is something you're concerned about you could always get a thicker pool-type to start out with. For instance, I pondered using some galvanized troughs for horses and even a water pond, which both were a lot thicker, but this seemed more in my price range especially for an experiment like this. But yes I am happy to say it is still holding up very strong with constant use.

    what kind of gravel is this?

    • @Nuke21
      @Nuke21 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used 1/2 inch round river rock. I didn't want anything smaller than that because in the fall I always magically have leaves that appear there from high winds so I wanted to be able to use my leaf blower to blow the leaves onto my grass to be sucked up with my mower. I was aftraid any smaller than 1/2 inch would end up being blown around by my leaf blower. Also 1/2 isn't bad walking on. 3/4 inch would have easily solved my leaf blower situation but I found it less comfortable walking on 3/4 inch as I did 1/2 inch so that was overall the best option for what I wanted.

      @@d.j.goldneye126 I recall the wire having a stripe. I thought it was a white stripe but I remember the base color was purple. But you can confirm it is the right wire by simply removing it from the harness, not cutting it. If it solves the problem, that is the right wire.

      @@Nuke21 well my friend, you are the man ! It actually worked . Thank you for posting this and replying . I watch your video about a year ago and I was in denial thinking it couldn’t be that simple. I’m was convinced it was something else draining the battery . So I installed a battery cutoff switch from harbor freight . Popping the hood to connect and disconnected everywhere I went was so annoying . I almost popped the hood this Am on my way to work, I paused and laughed cause I realized those days are over . This also took care of my smog problem which was the reason I was determined to fix it . Disconnecting the battery will reset the computer . So far the car starts right up, I replaced my cargo lamp bulb and I was able to perform a drive cycle for the car to relearn patters and all the emisión monitors register. Thanks you so much .
