Renault clio airbag light fix DF071 squib replacement
In this video I will show you how to fix the dreaded airbag light.
I tried different online suggestions with no luck. It wanst until I got an OBD check and figured out the fix was in replacing the faulty squib.
Hope this helps someone as I was going crazy for a moment trying to figure out the fix.

In this video I show you how to fix the 5D 46 or SD 46 fault code on the MT07. In my particular case I had to replace the regulator rectifier and now she's ready for the road again, happy days. If you have this code make sure you check all the components of the system, if you purchase electrical parts you won't be able to return them. Hope it helps.

Bit of grease back on the pistons before you push them in to fit new pads does no harm but this is professional!

Thank you! I had a lithium battery replacement and worked fine but it shut down on me due to a short (the red cover) melted thru and touched the seat holder bar. I don’t know if I fried my system. I found this video to make sure I can check my rectifier and stators condition after. Ty!!

You should hold front brakes lever tight when you tightening up brakes to let pads lining correctly

My front wheel doesnt spin as it should,it spins but doesnt make a whole circle it like does half circle then stops,is it possible that the problem is caused by the brake pads?
Hello, it could be the brake pistons binding or your bearings are shot.

@@glaeser3626 Front may just have what's called a bearing spacer. Do you hear any noise from the front when it's rotating or when you're riding like a BB spinning around inside a can? There could also be some warping of the brake rotors if you have a lot of miles on them. But you should keep in mind that a motorcycle wheel won't spin freely from your hand spinning like you would expect a bicycle wheel to do. The loads and the lubricants are different for a motorcycle wheel and it's bearings.
@@gregorylagrange i can hear the exact same noise from my rear tire as wel l but the rear spins smoothly and stops when it should,i have a feeling that the front loosens up a bit when motorcycle is started and sit on,brakes and everything else work fine idk if there is anything wrong with the front wheel or not but i dont think it should spin that hard no matter if the bike is started or not,btw during riding u can’t feel anything stopping the fromt wheel so.. but after droping it from wheelie u hear like a little scratch when the front wheel goes down idk if thats normal or not xd

Good luck, it would be very difficult to guess what it could be. Try with a diagnostic scanner.

I had the same problem,i change the airbag,the multiplex,etc and still on the f. light...and i dont have this pice down the stering,some indication about?
You should put a light smear of copper grease on the back of the pads before inserting them.

Hello bro. I bought the bike 2nd hand a week ago and all of a sudden this problem started to appear, the problem sometimes disappears and sometimes it appears all of a sudden. In general, at the first start, the battery cannot supply enough electricity to feed the starter and I get a 5d 46 error on the screen. I suspected the battery but now I'm not sure if this problem is from the regulatoe or the cables going to the regulator. Can u help me please? What should i do? Should i buy a New battery or a regulator?
Grab a multimeter and test your regulator to make sure it is the faulty part, it should output around 14 volts DC with the bike running. All the best 👍
hey bro, I took the connector off today and tested it with a multimeter, the connector gives about 8 volts when the engine is idling, and about 11-12 volts at high rpm. I think the connector is faulty, I also tested the regulator, it gives about 23 AC volts from each output when idling, and it goes up to 100 AC volts at high rpm
@@tekeristonline it should output over 14 Volts DC so it can charge the battery mate. Good thing is you are getting closer to getting it fixed summer is close !
Rubbis supposed to connected to ignition switch not to the battery if you forgot about them will drain your battery
Oxfords one should go to the battery directly, it has a smart switch which turns it off in a couple of minutes when the engine is not running.
