Why doesn't it let me delete a space with lasso with shapes, I tried making hard ridges with polygonal select and it didn't let me take a part out of he shape whatsoever, the only fix I have is to make it an image and use that

What if the color is black and white? I have an obj like a soda can is completely and mostly white

Doesn't work for me, i want to make an image small and keep it's smallness whilst keeping the quality the same, sadly it doesn't want to work at all.
