I love this video so so much. You and i have the exact same considerations its like u were reading my mind the whole time. Even better that i currently own a tracer 9gt+ and am considering this!! You points were flawless
Thanks 😀
One of the greatest bikes ever made, I’ve had Ninjas, KTM’s Hondas, Huskies, this bike is a masterpiece, I don’t no how they done it, so basic, but it’s an all time great.
Absolutely 💯
I rly held my breath too😂😭
🤣 every time
why you didnt tested transalp?
Because the tubed tyres put me off
@@ConstantThrottle1 why?
I don't actually know just the horror stories you hear about them and also not being able to just plug and play if you do get a puncture
Enjoyed your review currently looking at this bike, I already have a KTM for dirt. Just wondering how it goes when you have your partner on the back?
It's fine with passenger ive done quite a few videos with her on the back long rides etc.
I like the yellow or the white one. But really an enjoy to ride.
I didn't like the looks of it in any colour apart from the grey one which didn't look to bad 🤔
I bought one back in January this year, I put a different exhaust on and the quick shifter, it's unreal, so much fun!
Yes fantastic Bike, especially for the price 😀
Love the way it sound at Idle. Doesn't sound like your typlcal twin.
No it doesn't its a nice little bike all round
Is the ambulance ride mode a Europe only mode? 😄
Hahaha yes just press it and they appear 😅
Dougie just sold me one of these , just waiting for it to be delivered , can't wait to get out on it . oh and why didn't you turn on the heated grips ?
Brilliant bike haha can't remember why
I love the Triple Engine from Triumph. Been riding an Explorer 1200 since December. Great riding position.
Ooo I wouldn't mind a go on one of those 😃
Riding Tiger 900 GT Pro. Waiting for a call from the dealer to test ride the 2024 1200.
I have a 2022 765RS and its a phenomenal bike. Supersport performance on a platform i can ride all day. You mentioned no vibration through the mirror, but i find up north of 8k RPM they blur very suddenly and become useless. I can fix it by getting back off the throttoe and they settle back down
I thought I had said the mirrors were vibey just before the walk around maybe I cut that part out but yes it is a fantastic Bike just didn't fit me 😫
How is it now you’ve had it a while? Has it worn well or is it like people say, not worn very well? Good review though!!
Yes it's worn well and I've put quite a bit of weight on since my operation and it stretches well 🤣
Round lights old 2008-2010 Street triple looks much better✊🔥
Oooooo I dunno I like the look of this one 😍
yeap man , this is great bike !! T7 lover from Greece ! Cheers !!
Yes pretty much a perfect bike apart from the tubed tyres 🙃
Tenere is good but to make it great. Ecu remap courtesy of Geof at Hilltop mc Hinkley. Massive huge difference. Decat and aftermarket endcan, airbox mod ie lazer printed cheap bigger intake with snorkel removed and high flow air filter on airbox. Result fire breathing beastie. So much that you realise too low geared. Can easily pull away from standing start in second or third, so added one tooth on the front sprocket. Still feels too low so ditched two teeth on rear. Now cruises at 70 mph at 4.5 k revs and no loss in power. More mpg and power and goes like it should have from factory. So EU emissions bollocks removed and it uses less fuel has more go and surely doing 70 at 4.5k instead of 7k is putting out less emissions.
Hahaha madness who'd of though going green is worse 🤔🤣
Good review mate 🖤
Thanks 🙃
Wear some proper boots and you'll get your feet down easy.
How? I don't wear stilettos, or at least not when I'm riding 🤔🤣
I test rode my mates triple RS and bought the Hornet. I found the RS incredibly uncomfortable, my wrists were killing me after only a couple of minutes. And the suspension was crashing horribly over the rougher roads. The Hornet on the other hand was lovely over the bumps and zero wrist pain. I had my hornet fully loaded sports pack, style pack and the SC exhaust. Put a tail tidy and bar end mirrors on it and now for me it’s perfect. I agree the RS has a great engine and looks nice but I couldn’t live with it being such a horrible riding position and hard suspension.
Exactly the same for me I even took the test bike back early because I was that uncomfortable!! The hornet was 0retty much perfect though ride safe pal 👌
Two different bikes. The street triple is a track weapon, whereas the hornet is great at what Honda does best; vanilla.
Definitely not vanilla it might look crap but it's a very fun bike to ride
@@ConstantThrottle1Honda is a great bike/company. Does everything well, nothing exceptionally well, just around well. With maybe the exception of ASB ) Australian superbike) Honda just doesn’t cut it anymore. Too focused on diversity and ESG scores. I’m glad Kawasaki has no intentions to discontinue liter bikes, and they’re not too keen on drinking the (chinese) kool-aid.
@@ridepastu1418 Vanilla 😂 why you butt hurt lol probably haven’t ridden either and owns a 125 Duke 😭😭
Got one last year. Had a tracer 700 before. This is better in every way.
I've not had a go on a Tracer 7 yet but the hornet is a fantastic Bike 👌
Love your enthusiasm for this bike. Would like your thoughts. Currently have a 2016 Bonnie T120 here in Pennsylvania. I like the Bonnie's low end torque for riding up/down and around the ridge lines that cover our state but am looking to replace with a sports tourer for the longer hauls. Would this bike also deliver the low end grunt needed on such hills and ridge climbs (paved/macadam roads of course)? Thanks for any insights.
Hi thanks for the comment, yes the would be perfect for this and you'd have fun all the way there and back 😀
It’s cracking bike for power and handling, but sorry it’s is fucking ugly. It’s a bike you never look back when you park it .
Hahaha im the opposite I think it looks brilliant 😍
I think it looks good too.
💯
Pillion seat is anatomically designed for women.😉
Haha yes could be as I wouldn't want to be a pillion 🤣
Got it last month as my first bike. Done 400km so far. It's absolutely amazing. Not that I ever had another bike to compare it with but I don't have any complains, so I am more than happy with my purchase.
Great bike enjoy! You'll have the fun of a KTM with hondas reliability 👍
Where do you live, never seen so many police?! Never see the police where I am...
Manchester that was haha full of them plus they were doing spot check for some reason, I haven't seen many spot checks with a full street of police 🤣🤷♂️
We don't get the Hornet here in the states or the NC500 , or is it NX ?
I'd be surprised if you didn't as the old cb500x is in America so the new NX should be 🤷♂️ fingers crossed you'll get the hornet aswel as it's a brilliant little bike 😃
@@ConstantThrottle1 We just got the Transalp this year.
I've still not had a go on that but I'm guessing it's good with it having same engine as hornet
@@ConstantThrottle1 Sadly in this particular case I'm also from the US. I have a GSX 8S that I understand may be a better bike in a lot of ways but still feel a little slighted the Hornet is unavailable here as I think it is a better fit for me. Honda missed a sale with me but it is what it is and I'm very happy with my Suzuki.
@richardwarsinske7064 I need to get on one of those I like the way it looks a lot more than the hornet 👍
Yo, I got my GT+ and I'm totally in love with it! Every ride is just amazing!!
Great bike enjoy mate, ride safe 👍
It is a cool bike no doubt. Too bad we in the states will never see it. They should change the name to “Select Parts of The World Raid”.
🤣
Yeah and if they sold them in Australia they’d charge us an extra 6-8k AUD than everywhere else. Just because they can and dumb cashed up Aussies would pay it.
Beautiful bike though.
@@BillyBoblovesthedirt hell yea
Some report that the neckline will cause irritation after a short time, do you experience that? I am considering this or the Honister.
Yes suppose it does but nothing bad I just unzip it a little bit when I notice it but usually it's OK. I was thinking honister before this 1 but it's thicker and wouldn't be as cool in summer which is why I went for this one 👍
I need to get my leg over one of these!!!!
🤣 brilliant bike!!
You bought one yet?. 😂
🤣 no not yet
Africa Matt might be flogging his twin if you're interested, never been off road, honest 😂
@@thequickwaydown..2599 Hahaha never dropped or ridden in the rain either 😅
nice review what is your bodyweight. I'm same measurements as you 82kg ie 13 stone
When I did review I was around 87 kg not a chance im fitting in it now though need get back to gym after operation 🤣
@ConstantThrottle1 gotcha. Good luck with recovery. I think L is my size
@@BertieRude cheers 🍻
👍👍
Could have been a great video, spoilt by the stupid laughter
Sorry didn't know we wasn't allowed to have fun 🙄🤔
RUDE!!!! Why comment if youve got nothing nice to say....
Thought I'd give you guys a wave 👋 As it's Wirral #eggrun 2024 today .you guys popped up in my head.... Heading out to 👋off my lad and grandsons ride off.
😭😭 missed it this year I'm without a bike at the minute 😪
Hey, great ride, was wondering are those Revit Astro shoes?
Yes they are 🙃 I will get round to doing a review on them soon hopefully. They are very comfortable though well worth the money 👍
How is the space around the biceps and upper arms for the XL size? I have relatively thick biceps and upper arms. In a review of the MK2 model, an owner commented that there was not much give in the arms and he couldn't recommend them for someone who regularly does weight training, which dissuaded me from buying at that time. Is the fabric under the arm made of stretch material? Do you think bigger-than-average arms can fit?
I would think it will be fine 🙂
I wear mine in 30 degrees - I'd rather sweat than bleed! I have several jackets and this is my favorite. I agree with the sizing. I am always a 2XL butt had to go up to 3XL, which was a real surprise.
Very true better safe than sorry
What is your chest circumference? I couldn't find one locally, so planning to get one shipped. Wishing to avoid to-and-fro shipping to get the correct size. Comparing your chest size and your selected size (3XL) could help be with a better baseline starting point.
@elmn5435 I'm about 42 inch 👍
@@elm-neo I'm a 48" chest and gut circumference. I hope that helps.
Oooh you've got me on the location in this one... I normally recognise where they are..😂😂
🤣 Garswood this was at
@@ConstantThrottle1 🤦🏻♂️ the top of Billinge Road.👍🏻
5 cars is a traffic jam to you ? 😂😂
🤣
You’re also expected to drive with courtesy and respect not like a dick dick
And how was that riding like a dick 🤔
lol nice vid, Brakes work perfect TIT hahahahaha
Yes that could have ended badly 🤣🤣
Hello KTM 😉
🤣
I haven’t ridden a bike in 33 years. I currently own a Triumph Tiger Sport 660, and it’s okay for an entry level bike. The third bike I rode when I started riding again was a used GSF850. It is a lovely bike indeed, and very comfortable to ride. I have a lot of spine and neck problems, and the 850 doesn’t cause me any discomfort in any way. After my neck surgery has healed, I’m going to look into purchasing a GS F850.
Very good bike, also have a look at the tiger 900 👍
Bro was hoping nobody seen 😂
🤣🤣
I would have liked to actually see the jacket a bit more!
Noted 👍
Refreshing to hear an honest review from someone who isn't dazzled by the latest bling. Thanks for posting 👏
Thanks for watching 👍
Top Gs
Its a very FUN machine to ride, but there is a catch... I have the same exact model sitting at the dealer since july 2023. The have ordered the parts, but most of them are BO and this suck big time
Yes, that is worrying. Would you recommend the 890 instead?
Get it bought...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣
Oh it will be in the garage next year or maybe the 890 depending what offers are on 😍
@@ConstantThrottle1 I look forward to the unveiling.👍🏻👍🏻
Me too 🤣
@@ConstantThrottle1 Wondering whether this would replace or complement the f700gs, which is more practical. I have owned one for 7 years and love it ( with Givi screen and good suspension) but now might need a lighter bike.
@@steamixion the f700gs has now gone 😢 I sold it due to operation on my elbow so it would be my only bike its just the reliability issues that put me off slightly but it's a fantastic Bike and probably worth taking the risk 😂
