Jadie & I love traveling. There’s something about learning other culture and history. We’ve decided to live our lives to the fullest, so we quit our jobs and sold everything. Our goal is to live in the Philippines. It’s been two years of waiting around for them to open, but until then, we’ll travel to where ever we can go to. Our videos are to document our travels and the fun times we have. It is also our way of keeping our family and friends in a loop of how we're doing and as well as where we're going. We also would like to help others on their future travels. Our vlogs are mostly for memories, and we enjoy making them! Please feel free to join us on our journey. Thanks!

We headed to Bantayan Island in Cebu Philippines for the very first time. We got some unauthorized hitchhikers on board with us which made the trip a bit more memorable. This Island was very very especial to us. It was one of the most peaceful with the most pristine beaches we've seen in all of the Philippines. FYI This is a late upload. We didn't expect much going to Tumalog waterfalls. Hidden gems are all over Philippines and that is why we love it here so much. Kawasan falls was awesome with its canyoneering, but we think that this waterfall looks more majestic compared to the main falls in Kawasan and it is definitely worth the trip down south when you go to see the whale sharks in Oslob. . . . . . How much pay Samar to Cebu suv fare roro?
Great video. I don’t want to rent a car. Are there taxis available or an Uber service ?
enjoy my hometown lods..
Hey new sub! How are the kittens?
Bantayan island is so cool! It's definitely a place I'd visit again!
Definitely!!
Would love to connect if possible! We are also an lgbt couple and looking into living in the Philippines 😊
Ahhhh soooo cool! Where are you from???
That place is beautiful. Would you be posting your overseas trips?
It really is! And yes! Definitely! ☺️
Bantayan island looks awesome. It’s been awhile since your last vlog. Love this vlog.👍🏼❤️
it's one of our favorite places we've been to! super chill. Yes, sorry it's been awhile. Life has been super busy lately. Thank you for watching!
Did you left the Philippines these past few months?
Yes! we did some international travels
That looks awesome! I’m taking it lol. I just sent this to my brother in law to copy in the province for our build. Thanks for sharing!
Cool!! Yes please! That’s awesome!
Amazing video! 😊
Glad you liked it! Thank you!
Watching from USA my friend
Is it ok to ask how much you spent?
Sorry I just saw this. We spent about 50k pesos for labor and materials
Very nice
Great video! Can you provide a link to this B&B?
How far in advance do you need to reserve a ticket to an island, 🏝️ particularly in the summer time? In addition, how early should we get to the port in Athens?
That's my problem when i have my road from Baguio city to Davao. the road from samar to catbalogan is very terrible(many potholes and under repair) Actually even the road at quezon to bicol is also not good. The road at sorsogon is one of the best, the road at mindanao agusan to davao is also not very good. the road from the north luzon to manila is very good (Ilocos norte to manila).
how much for the fare from leyte to Cebu?
Wow so nice I feel like I’m dreaming
very modern and functional! really cool place. but the fridge door opening is really messing with my ocd, I wouldn't go to sleep until I swapped it to open towards the kitchen 😂 😂
Omgggg we’ve never even noticed until you pointed it out. Now we can’t unsee it! 🤣
Beautiful !!! Clean and updated …
Thank you!
Wow! Your town house looks awesome. So beautiful. Impressive. Good job. ❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
The place is so cozy! Ganda! 😍
Thank you po! 🙏🏼🫶🏼
Your place looks amazing! You two always do such a great job. ❤
Thank you!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I love it. You guys did a good job. ❤
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Congratulations! What a beautiful home you have made for yourselves! I love following your adventures!
Thank you so much!
I am thinking of doing this trip via buses or buying a motorcycle/scooter/tuk tuk locally
Hi guys. The gate looks nice. I'm just curious as to why you basically made it a ladder to climb up & down on? Vertical bars make a bit more sense imho, but maybe I'm looking at this wrong...
Hi!! That’s a really good question. It’s nice of you to worry about our safety but we live in a subdivision with 24 hour security, have a security camera and are in a very safe area. We’ve also heard that whatever way you build your gate if people want to get in, they will still get in. We would have to fully incase the entire front if we wanted full protection. We also really like the aesthetic and feel that it will keep most people out. I hope that makes sense!
Anywhere you go, contractors are always gonna be a hit or miss.
I guess that’s true!
Wow, that came out nice!!
We think so too!
Can't wait for the next video.
Wow! The gate looks awesome. Yes, once you find a good and honest contractor stick with them or get referral from them for projects beyond their capabilities. Can’t wait to see the final product and updates inside the house.
Totally agree! Thank you ☺️
Sorry to hear about your experienced with bad contractors. Most of the time, you’re at their mercy. Whenever we thought of a project, we always ask friends and relatives for referrals. That said, the townhouse looks really good. Congratulations!👍🏼❤️
Very true! Thank you ☺️
When is your schedule for uploading videos
as of right now, we don't really have a schedule. We are going to try to upload once or twice a week though!

Congratulations from Tacoma! Looks great! Hope to make the move over at some point as well.
Thank you! Wow Tacoma 🥹 that’s awesome! Best of luck!
it's really hard to find honest contractors in the Philippines and it's quite disgusting to learn that you had to deal with them.
You can. Try to befriend a local that you can trust. Networking with locals will go a long way to find a reliable and trustworthy contractors that charge reasonably. These ladies directly negotiated and hired dishonest people who may have been scammers. If you're new to the neighborhood, spend time connecting and building rapport with the locals. Locals will genuinely help and refer you to the right people.
Sadly, they were referred to us by friends. It doesn’t always work out, but yes, I do agree that this is the best approach! We have met some really good and honest people through a local neighborhood contractor.
It is very hard. Even my tita who is a local got scammed 1.5M by her engineer neighbor/friend.
Please do not drive at night in the Philippines. If you accidentally hit a motorcycle or tricycle because they are not using their lights you go straight to jail + responsible for medical or funeral expenses. You guys need to experience these reckless commercial vehicles at night. I will never come back to the Philippines. Although the funniest thing I have seen is a car collided with a street light located in the middle of a lane.
Yes, we will never do this again. It was a very bad idea.
Welcome to philippines,,and nice you buy a town haouse, and now you make your house beautifu, and you experiense the christmas and new year here.
Yay! Thank you po 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 we love it here!
Cool vid. I subbed😊
Awesome thank you!

Yes po, we did
I just discovered your channel, you can see the effort you put into bringing your home together and i'm so happy for you seeing what you have made happen! p.s I love the interior style
Awww thank you so much!!! 🙏🏼
Guys, can you give me a ballpark on how much everything costs? At least a rough estimate on how much money I should have to move there, maybe get a slightly bigger place. I got some coins saved up, and I feel like I need to pull the plug before Cebu gets too expensive.
Hello! The good thing about going to the Philippines is there are cheaper, middle of the road or high end places to buy! From our experiences, land in Cebu is 10,000-15,000 pesos per sqm. You can buy decent houses for 3-5 Million pesos. There are condos around that same price as well depending on the location. Electricity is more expensive than the US, we’re paying around $100-$200 a month. Water is pretty cheap around $10-$20 a month. Good Wifi is $30 a month. I hope this helps!
I can tell that this is going to be a wonderful house!
🥰🥰 thank you for watching
New subscriber here…. I love a black and white motif for my home too … any decors easily fits in and blends together…
@@roseregalado48thank you for subscribing! Yes, we love the clean modern look!
Wow, such a lot of work, but it is coming along great! Can’t say the contractor situation is much different here. Really good, honest ones are rare.
Thank you! And yes, very true with the contractors.
Your house is gonna beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
So much work but totally worth it! 😍

glad your back!
