This Deer has no respect as it stops to do its business on a feed pile while another deer is eating. @OhioOutdoors-te8jz
You gave me some very important info. I live in the country and would have NO means to unload this unit. I would think using a shipper that cannot unload for the buyer would be losing a lot of business. In my case, and I would think many others, that if you are looking at a one ton mini, it is very likely you wouldn't have a fork truck lying around. Oh, got a question, I' 6'2" 240, will I fit in this thing?
@@bogieman101 I am 6-0 260 and sitting in the seat is fine. If you put your feet on the petals is a bit cramped. There is a small lower level on each side basically straight out in front of the hand controls that I put my feet when operating. It’s a comfortable position, just a bit awkward.
Let me know what fan cooler you purchased. Looking forward to your videos.
Ok, I’ll definitely check out the videos. I watched a video on a different model but he was losing power on his swivel and noticed the bolts on top of the swivel motor were all loose. He tightened them down and regained power. I’ll have to check mine when I get it. Should be here Monday.
the swivel exploded! What the heck. Was it covered under warranty?
@@dennisrogers9731 yes it was under warranty. They sent me a new one with no directions. I finally got them to send me a hose location diagram then changed it out only to find out there is something internally wrong with it. It took 52 days to get to me. I did not want to wait another 52 days for a replacement so I actually found a guy on eBay that had a new one so I just paid the 400.00 and bought it. I’ll do a video on installing it.
I also purchased a hydraulic fan/ cooler I’ll do a video on the install of that also.
Did you figure out how to counterweight it? If so can you do a video or share any info? Thanks!
@@dennisrogers9731 I have not done anything on counterweights yet. I will be doing a video soon on replacing the swivel as mine exploded. After I get that fixed I’ll tackle counterweights.
Are you still liking this model? Was thinking about one myself.
@@eddmead4090 yes I do like it. I did have the hydraulic swivel fail though, and am in the process of replacing it now. AGT stood behind their warranty and shipped one to me at no cost the only issue is it took 48 days to get to Ohio. I have found out it is easy to work on with really no knowledge about them.
@@OhioOutdoors-te8jz Sorry to hear about the breakdown. I wonder whether having the pilot controls just adds more to go wrong. Looks way more comfortable to operate but just afraid it adds more complexity
@@eddmead4090 it is very comfortable to operate. One thing I thought I’d like was the swinging boom. I thought I’d use it a lot but it’s easier to just swing the entire cab. Swinging the boom is jerky when you have the idle up to operate.
@@OhioOutdoors-te8jz Did you happen to take a look at the swivel motor part size while you were in there? AGT says it comes with a 250 and mine came with a 315. Small free upgrade and my model is actually the DM12-C, same as yours without the pilot controls.
@@OP223-0 I did not but I still can because Im still working on it. They sent me a new one but the right track won’t move with the new one installed so I just ordered a new one off eBay to replace the new one from china.
I added a counterweight to mine finally. Here's a short video of the result, sorry I didn't make a video of the fabrication process. th-cam.com/video/IDoa_E0_Y_I/w-d-xo.html
@@gtgeorge1814 nice job. Looks like it came like that. Your skilled.
I received mine and like it alot especially the pilot controls. The button on the right stick isn't connected to anything, perhaps it's a provision for a horn (?). Working on a counter weight using steel shot.
@@gtgeorge1814 I’m not in front of mine right now but one of the buttons on the stick controls swinging the boom. Glad you like it.
I have one on the way, much prefer the side location of the controls. I've been thinking about the counter weight and might get some steel plates cut, stacked then bolted to the back far enough way that the rear cover can be removed. Cutting the lower part of the cover off so that it can be hinged and clear the weight might be another option. Thanks for your videos.
😎
For $8k... you don't get an owner's manual! That's only included for the added cost of $20k you get with Bobcat or Kubota apparently. 😂 Otherwise, what's the swing left/right angle on the boom?
Are your hydraulics jerky?
Yes. The only way I have found to control that is to idle it down a bit.
Need a ripper tooth and a small bucket for roots and hard digging
Have you changed your hydraulic oil yet and if so what type of oil?
I did and changed it to iso 46. The only reason I used that was someone else changed theirs to that. That is the only info I could find on what weight.
THANKS IJUST BOUGHT ONE
Is there a lockout lever/switch for the controls in case you bump them while getting in and out with the excavator running?
Yes there is on the right side of the seat. agtequipment.com now has these back in stock.
There is a switch but on mine the controls don't lock for some reason. I tested the switch and it's fine, still looking into it deeper to figure out the problem.
what company did you buy it from?
agtequipment.com. However they were showing them as sold out, and now I cannot find them on their website.
Agtequipment.com now has these back in stock and on their website.
I'd be curious to know more about that cooling remedy as I didn't notice any fans. Pilot controls look comfortable, too bad the single pump set up keeps from really taking advantage of them though.
I am not sure what they did to it either. There are no fans. Pilot controls are great. The swinging boom is there if you need it but I do not use it very often as it’s easier to just swing the entire cab.
I have not had any issues with overheating. But it’s just now starting to get in the 80’s here in Ohio.
My brother just pointed out to me that its MAX flow from the aux pump is listed as 1.51 gpm (max pressure is 2,320 psi)... that seems EXTREMELY low. The Bobcat E10 is rated to 5.3 gpm (max 2,756 psi) and U10 is about 5.5 gpm. 🤷 I'm curious what the swing spin is (RPM) and left/right boom swing as AGT lists neither.
Looks pretty nice! I like that it has the hydraulic thumb and side swing. Maybe you could bolt a 2" receiver hitch from harbor freight under the rear end. If there is clearance when you spin the chassis. Then weld up a bracket to slide in the hitch that will accept small suitcase weights. By the way what's the distance between the joy sticksat seat level?
That’s a good idea. I actually have a 2 inch bolt on receiver. I may try that. The pilot controls are just above the arm rests. It’s very comfortable to sit there and operate it with your arms on the arm rests. I’ll let you know on the measurement.
@@OhioOutdoors-te8jz thank you in advance
Have a link? I can’t find dm12x-c. Only found dm12-c
This is the DM 12 x-c. I forgot to put the x in the title of the description. Sorry I will correct that. Mine is the 12x-c.

@@OhioOutdoors-te8jz I don't see that particular model on the website.

@markshaw2207 just search "agt-dm12x-c-mini-excavator" It's likely the 2nd or 3rd link on agtequipment website.
Does yours have the Briggs and Stratton
Yes it does
13.5 HP Briggs
@@OhioOutdoors-te8jz Have you checked to see if it is indeed a B&S or a clone? I only ask because in my hours of reading and trying to decide on one of these, someone stated they contacted B&S (maybe for parts?) and the serial number did not show up as a B&S product. I think we all know China is the world leader in counterfeit items. Really only thing that has held me back so far is I haven't found one close in the PeeDee area of South Carolina yet..
