@@chong7091 I found a couple on Amazon that are the same size. Only like $6 a piece. I will let you know how it works out. I will have it by Monday. Might not get to take it out till next weekend.

@@BassBashin i didnt know the parts number, i just go to the yamaha parts shop to buy the cable. You tell them you need to replace your yamaha 15hp throttle cable, there are 2 different lenght cable, you must buy the longer one. Oh ya ......... Later i go measure the right lenght for the cable and update here...

@@a23b23 it is all depand on your boat. On my pitch9" best when i am boating and fishing with a passenger, pitch 10" is my choice for everyday boating and fishing, pitch 11" best when i am doing boating only without other fishing gears.

@@derpyturtle2660 you just need to squeeze the primer ball until tight at the initial start up, after the engine started, you dont have to squeeze the ball again otherwise the engine will stall/ overfuel

@@derpyturtle2660 if you need to contantly squeeze the ball after the engine has started (low fuel intake), you need to check whether any part of hose is banded and make sure the vent valve of the fuel tank is open and working properly.

May be you need to slightly open the vent of the fuel tank? If the fuel tank vent is closed tight, no air can get in to the fuel tank when fuel is extracted from the fuel tank, and this creates a pressure to prevent fuel from going out smoothly.

@@captainjayc9217 the problem is the water hole blocked by the bee/wasp "soil". I always store my outboard outside my house where there are alway bees/wasp make hives with soil, so the lesson learned is ... Cover the outboard top or store the outboard inside house .

Bagi pendapat saya lah, harga engine ni memang best untuk bajet saya, saya bukan guna engine ni setiap hari so saya tak pasti ia akan bertahan atau tidak kalau heavy use setiap hari. Setakat ini saya masih puas dengan engine ni , masalah masalah yang saya menhadapi semua ada dalam video video dalam yt saya😁

Good suggestion for new user 👍,but mine is too late for that. now the hangkai is 3yrs old and 300hrs already, i am kind of get used to the look, i just need to sand and repaint it ..maybe once a year😋

I dont know anything about your boat bro, but i believed the outboard work but the travel speed might be slow(i am just guessing), maybe you need to change a lower pitch propeller for the outboard

My hangkai 18 does not have a charging coil, you can buy yamaha 15 coil for the hangkai if you need to charge the battery.

@@chong7091Aside from a Yamaha charging coil, do I also need a Yamaha voltage regulator as well? Thanks for your reply!

I only use this hangkai in saltwater. It never submerged into the water😁

@@chong7091 Thanks. That hopefully makes it easier to find parts. I’ve owned a few 20hp Yamahas the past few years and they were fantastic, but they’re pretty expensive. I wish you good luck with the Hangkai. It’s an intriguing motor considering the price.

@@scottgoodson5132 this is not a bad engine (beside the paint). The parts are way cheaper to by the hangkai original instead of yamaha parts. But if you have no choice to acquire the original cheap hangkai parts, you can always use yamaha parts , most of the parts are equivalent beside the conrod( the holes diameter is smallerfor hangkai compare to yamaha)

How long are the shafts? I need a long shaft

The gas and tank you can buy at big hardware shop, and those hardware shop selling welding machine one. Usually the new 10litre tank with argon gas is selling around rm300. For refilling gas, in kuching , you just pay rm80 and swap the empty tank with full gas tank on the shop.

Oh ya, if you interested in this machine, its rm950 with everything in my first video but without the 10litre argon tank.

Selalunya ,untuk breakin period adalah 10jam guna. dalam 10jam pertama, ratio petrol: 2t adalah 25litre petrol campur 1 litre 2t. Lepas 10jam/lepas breakin 50litre petrol campur 1 litre 2t . Untuk 10jam pertama, full speed jangan lebih 10min. Bagi saya ,dalam masa 10jam pertama, saya ikut campuran petrol 25 liter dengan 1 litre 2t sahaja, yang lain saya tak ikut😁

@@unknownsoldier30 bukan bro, kamu terus breakin di boat di laut atau sungai. Tak perlu breakin kasih start di rumah. Terus boleh guna. Campuran 2t dan petrol mesti 25liter petrol dengan 1 liter 2t (10jam pertama).
