Protein Crosslinks Revealed by FirstGlance in Jmol
FirstGlance in Jmol automatically alerts users to five kinds of covalent protein crosslinks, such as isopeptide bonds. It can also show the electron density maps, the best way to decide whether such bonds are real.

Pockets And Cavities Using Pseudoatoms in Proteins: PACUPP
มุมมอง 6664 ปีที่แล้ว
PACUPP is a free, open-source, Jmol-based program that visualizes pockets and cavities of proteins by filling them with pseudoatoms. This video demonstrates how to use it, showing HIV protease, grooves in DNA, a potential drug target cavity in coronavirus spike protein, a proteasome, the nascent pepide exit channel of a 50S ribosome, and acetylcholinesterase. - Download and Documentation: molvi...

Ramachandran Principle: Protein Atomic Clashes vs. Phi & Psi
มุมมอง 93K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Animated atomic models illustrating Phi and Psi dihedral (torsion) angles in proteins, and how atomic clashes make certain angles impossible, favoring the secondary structures of alpha helices, beta sheets, and turns. Clashes are shown forming in real time as phi or psi rotate. Related resources: Quiz (9 questions): proteopedia.org/w/User:Eric_Martz/Ramachandran_Principle_Quiz Slideshow: tinyur...
