Dough, sauce and cheese. $20. That $2.50 a slice was $.15 when I was a teenager. I've been going to the Columbus Market since I was a little boy in the 1940s and they had a stock auction. It's changed quite a bit since then.

If you're near Scranto, you should definitely stop by Catelanos for 1 with or without peppers. I might have spelled Catalanos wrong. 2 different tries here. Their Italian subs are the best. Best roll. Best ratio of meat to bread, etc.. Great quality. 👍 they can't be beat.

Windmill hot dogs are pretty bangin for Jersey dogs. West End was my favorite location.

You also need to try out and settle the controversy between DeLorenzo's Famous Tomato Pies VS Papa's Tomato Pies. Great news is their located very close to each other. Bang out both in one day!

Brooklyn Square Pizza in Jackson NJ is also known for their delicious Square Upside Down Slice. Dave Portnoy gave it rave reviews on his visit there.

Hey Va-Ca-Ja, be sure to tell PoP Va-Ca-Ja that the "breakfast" option at that establishment is like the famous south Jersey pork roll and cheese. Instead of being served on a bagel, roll, or english muffin they serve it on top of their pizza dough. Hope this helps booby ! 🔜. 🍕🍕. 👏

It’s no joke but Italians do eat leftovers for breakfast , especially pizza they go great with a fresh cup of coffee. So without a doubt I’d eat one of them Zeps for breakfast .

"Hey... you want an inch of bologna, a quarter of tomato and an inch of onion? Here is your zep." That didn't look like something I would want. lol I did learn the term Zep though. Seems like every region had their own name for a sandwich.

Tommy LaSorda would eat three Zeps for lunch every day .

I have be3n to both the old and new locations. A classic. Too much onion though. I take some off.

The actual main thing about a Zep is that the meat is Cooked Salami, heavy on the oil, tomato and onion, soft roll, and of course the hot pepper spread. They are Definitely Delicious 😋

Prices are insane! You can get a better, bigger sandwich in NY for $11 and the meat is sliced to order! $16 for a tiny turkey sub? WTF? How long has that meat sat out oxidizing and rotting. SMH!

Those portions are monstrous and look to be worth every penny they charge! Now you got me wanting to try this place

Nice documentary on Rutt's Hut. Your dad is correct. People think of a Hot Dog Stand, they think nothing but dogs are available. But a full service restaurant it is. i didn't know that from other videos I have seen on this place.

The best pizzeria in Wildwood is right off of the boardwalk called Tony's New York Pizza. I skip all the places on the boardwalk and go to Tony's for a slice nearly every day I'm down there on vacation

Yep is short for zeppelin the aircraft from like 89 90 years ago as it resembles the shape of sandwich, but it's same thing as a sub , grinder, hoagie , etc different regions call the same sandwich a different thing
