Facts of racing. If you're not reading between the rules, then you're not winning - this is everything from pinewood derby to F1. Yamaha will sacrifice its finger to save the body just like anyone else would. What this does is ruin the credibility for the AMA and Yamaha. Who cares about rules if they can be broken.

I can understand the Deagens and Yamaha being pissed at someone wanting to take there factory bike but I don't agree with there intimidation an threats at a kid just working hard to follow his dreams. The problem is the ludicrous rule not the 17 year old.

If its in the rules its in the rules like it or not. If your mad cause I kid followed the rules and used it in his favor, then why do you follw any other rules on the track. Head starts, modded bikes, etc. This is simply exposing the high end team with illegal "factory pro prepped" motors. That is what the rule is supposed to do. Fact that Yamaha threatened his sponsor dealership tells you everything you need to know about if they are guilty or not by cheating. All the fan boys getting mad about this proves they aren't about the actual racing and more so about their "hero" rider always winning. I hope this young man wins big money in court over this. Hopefully AMA does what they should.

I stopped watching at 22:30 of the video. I wish you would have stuck to your guns. Im a fan of the Deegan's and watch alot off their videos by the way. But the way they blackmailed you and won because you gave in is bull. If it is a rule you are doing nothing wrong. They just didn't want all their secrets getting out. I imagine the rule was wrote in the first place to keep the competition fair as possible. You should have either went through with it or negotiated them to give you a big check not to. You were never in the wrong. Yes you are just a kid but learn now not to let people bully you. You would have had some people upset but guess what you will still have those people upset anyways. Sorry for your loss. You saved your money and had every right I feel bad for you.
