At the same time, one of my best friends and I both lost our dads. She mentioned that the loss journey was easier on her but difficult for her dad. Conversely, for our dad, it was easier on him but difficult for us.

Love this especially mental health and faith. I remember being star struck by the Petra and Julia and chocolate fountain tour. I remember you both being honest and vulnerable. Lets stop praying away out struggles and talk and accept ourselves as we are God has. xxx

I was adopted by pākeha, I only found out that I was Māori when I was 52. I have been on a waiting list for the reo Māori course for 3yrs, the taking up space is very real.

Haha ✨talk therapy✨ it’s so important for our hinengaro. Similar kōrero to te whare tapa whā. It’s all about balance. Thank you both for your honest kōrero! I’m such a fan of both you guys! I grew up watching Ice TV and Anika Moa on Juice TV and C4! It’s refreshing to hear this kōrero. I have diabetes too and get tingly feet when I eat too much sugar so I stop and eat it reminds me to eat more healthily. That’s pretty much a natural way of our bodies telling us that. Kia pai tō rā ✌🏽

touch therapy is such a powerful trauma healing tool - Havening (I'm still not comfortable with the name) is a therapy offered in Aotearoa and I highly recommend it. It helped me with a defining (negative) childhood memory which had resulted in HOW I was living my life...my brain was rewired from that memory and I am unable to be affected by that memory. it's been released. I have so loved this kōrero and Tatiana's amazing journey with grief.
