While Charlie Parker recorded "Confirmation" in 1953, it was first recorded in 1946 by the Dizzy Gillespie Sextet. Really interesting and very smooth sounding. I suppose that was recorded in California during Dizzy's infamous stay at Billy Berg's. Bird was supposed to be on the date but failed to appear. Thanks for sharing, Ron!

It's a side D which can kinda give the sound of concert c if played with bad intonation, Cannonball Adderley was especially a fan of using palm keys like this

could someone on here let me know the form of this song god please im dying so far i have 0-0:05 intro, 0:05-0:44 is head, and :44 starts solo. please god help this is so confusing
The form is AABA with a 4-bar into. Each section is 8 bars in length so it’s a 32-bar form.
