Personally I think new war is the weakest of the main story quests

Mag honestly is so great with little stat need, you need ~140% strength as her only bench mark to full strip with her 4 augment and not negative range (and this is subjective also with how big you want your magnetise Bubble). She is fantastic For energy needs equilibrium is a fantastic mod, health orbs drop more than energy and most people use synth deconstruct on their pet of choice (25% change to drop health orb on death if they have been DAMAGED by the pet) Fracturing crush is an almost mandatory mod for SP. mag was my starter too, I wanted a melee frame, laughed at excalibur's 10% sword damage passive. Looked at mags first, pull and was sold this was my melee frame of choice. Also she was the only woman there.

This was actually quite helpful because, now there is zero chance in hell I'm redownloading this game to try the demo. Yeah they can fuck right off.

Yes Archon Hunts are a good place to show off a frame, just like with Netracells and Deep Archimedea. These are all the highest level gamemodes most people play. I find these better than any lvl 9999 endless survival showcases because yes that does show the potency of a frame but barely anyone ever plays at that level. And most of these TH-camrs get there with the help of buffs and outside synergies. Mag can is also pretty survivable because she can restore her shields really well. Trick is to always keep casting 3 for shield and armor stripping while providing little bits of shield and cast 4 when your shield breaks. The only problem is her energy sustain. So I recommend looking into energy sustain guides to figure out how you're gonna do that. Zenurik from your operator is usually a good place to start.

SP mot is what most people use to show off builds. The enemies are stronger and more damage, which is great to show off tanking, shield gating, weapons, etc.

mag is one of my favorite frames to play in high level content the only issue I have with her is that in order to survive you have to spam the living fuck out of all your ability's which destroys your energy economy lol

Fun Fact: when the opening cinematic was being made for an updated opening to the game the animators wanted to make her catch bullets until someone pointed out she cant do that, and when they brought it up with DE that it feels weird they cant they just said "oh dont worry, we coincidentally are adding that in this update"

I told ya! lol If you can solve your energy issues, 3-4 Augur mods or Brief Respite should be all you need for survivability under most circumstances (personally, I use Growing Power aura and 3 Augurs, with 2 of them in my secondary), because you should be spamming powers pretty hard with Mag. Equilibrium and a companion with the Synth Deconstruct mod, which gives a chance to drop health orbs from enemies hit by your companion, and Duplex Bond, which creates clones (1 clone for every 100 energy you spend, up to 3, so you can see how this synergizes) of your companion that can drop energy orbs from enemies killed by the clones, should help a lot, and all are readily available. Any sentinel w/ Verglas Prime is a fantastic option for this, but it's worth noting that Dethcube has it's own energy orb dropping mod, Energy Generator. Zenurik focus school, too, for Wellspring. EDIT: I forget to mention, check out the Tennogen offerings for Mag. There are some great looking community created skins for her.

Oh? Lloydy finally understanding the beauty of Mag? My man has come so far. Can't blame you though. I was too much of a Volt main for a long time when I started. But when I fell in love with Mag, I went all in. And yes, there are sick fashion-frames for her. Hard to do for default skin though. If you wanted her Heirloom then that makes two of us. Her and Frost's Heirloom skins won't be available again, ever. All the Heirlooms from Ember forward will have rotations, but not Frost and Mag. Personally, I just shield-gate when I use Mag (reminder: you have a moment of invulnerability when your shield runs out). I build her in a way I can pretty much spam abilities. So with Fracturing Crush I just kinda keep replenishing my shields while stripping armor. And IMO if you want to push her further with Archon Shards, use yellow ones to increase her casting speed. It helps a lot.

Mag looks bad because she’s an old frame. Which means her textures and stuff aren’t the ones the newer frames are using that apply colors better. Also metallic back then sucked and you couldn’t change the color of shiny parts. Older weapons are like this too.

If you use arcane aegis, redirection, and adaptation, mag becomes pretty tanky. Greedy pull isn't necessary either, and you can even replace that skill with helminth, but I get that it's a pretty good QoL skill. Also, if you replace pull with some skill to generate energy, you can replace equilibrium with some other mod, like flow or primed flow, as mag is a pretty spammy wf when it comes to her skills.

Hey Lloydy are you planning on getting Mag Prime? I still got a boatload of those ancient relics that contain her (from when void keys were converted to relics) Also keep your eyes peeled for Baro, getting Primed Redirection SIGNIFICANTLY benefits specifically Mag and Hildryn because they love their shields.

Notice how there are no people who are kinda ok with warframe, those who play it are ride or die and for good reason. Warframe is a gift that keeps on giving where for a while you think you have the game and the "simple" story figured out but then the game does a complete 180 and you realize that you in fact did not know anything about this game at all. Those who know, know what I'm talkimg about ;)

If you havent already, you should try and get the torid and dual toxocyst incarnon from the sp circuit. They are some of the best weapons in the game

Try putting at least 1 parkour mod and a rush mod on all your frames. Wisp prime is also very nice , Warframe gets to the point where you come back for the events , and play a while , then wait for the next event , AND THAT IS TOTALLY FINE !

I would honestly suggest a heavy melee build. When you use the pull it stuns the enemies long enough to counteract the wind up time for a heavy attack. I personally use the pennant.

Ok so 2 things: Id love to see you try the endo farm cuz I wanna learn to do it and save up your aya for when frames and their weapons get unvaulted! It will take longer (and a lot of pain) but you can definitely get the prime frames you want through that! you can see who's unvaulted by visiting variza :))
