This channel is an outlet for Boggle to display his multimedia experiments. VIEWERS BEWARE: I am by no means a professional. This content will probably not be consistant. You may not enjoy everything you find here. You may intermittently get your mind blown. If you have these experiences or any others please let me know in the comments. your input is why I am posting after all.
cipate - Boggle (360/music video) (Glitchy/Electronica)
More bending Blender and automating Ableton. Quite a bit of figuring out some key fundamentals in Davinci Resolve too. About 26 days of Blender rendering on an RTX 3080(due mainly to high transparency passes). Not including a number of days worth of footage that got binned.
Was wanting to step aside from the overly symmetrical. Try for something more textural. Better lighting dynamics(GPU intensive).
I also wanted to restrict the audio to fewer layers, so I routed everything into separate buses for processing. I bounced these to audio, which took a lot of pressure off the mixing since it was already set in WAV. Had I planned ahead for what I learned from it I would have done it differently. which is why we do things in the first place I suppose.
A bit of glitchy abstract madness to stem the winter chill.

Chapel Perilous - Boggle (360 music video)

I am attempting to create a more spacious environment, visually and audibly. The mix got pretty muddy, and I lost a lot of what I was reaching for, but, I suppose I learned a bit more for next time, which is kind of the point of all of this. Apart from its therapeutic value. Any input or comments would be appreciated. I would also be happy to answer any questions if I can. Created in Ableton, a...
Xenobiotic - Boggle (360 music video)
มุมมอง 5923 หลายเดือนก่อน
Music video and 360 visuals by Boggle. Using Blender, Ableton, and Resolve. Trying to reign in the chaos a bit. Just a bit. Building in layers and then compositing, both audio and video. Graphics are 3d modeled and then manipulated in geometry nodes. With a single, heavily animated shader node tree, a few camera tricks, and hundreds of key markers. The audio is heavily derived from a single fie...
Confounded - Boggle (360 music video)

Music and video by Boggle. Using Blender, Ableton, and Davinci Resolve. Extended slowed chopped and shredded mix. video is the result of my most recent experiments with procedural and animated textures. I might have gotten a little carried away.
360 fractal flight-test with Jam

The fractal was generated using Mandelbulber. The audio in Ableton. I did some denoising in Blender. I'm sure that's not the most efficient or effective way to denoise, but it worked.... kind of. I then compiled it all in DaVinci Resolve. This was basically a test run for Mandelbulber and then having some fun throwing a beat together for it. Expect more fractals on this channel.

360-degree 3d fractal ball thing with hand-drawn background. mostly done with Blender geometry nodes, audio in Ableton, compiled in Davinci resolve. It's pretty low quality, working on render settings to speed up the process.

Trying to wrap a digital canvas around your head. And maybe testing how far you can stretch your neck. If anyone has Blender to VR tips, they would be appreciated.

Ableton, Blender, Inkscape, Davinci Resolve. Testing lots of buttons, letting LFOs and noise generators determine the outcome.
That's a really cool 360 fractal model, not seen one like that before. Fabulous patterns in there too, really like the blurred background as well - liked
Hey, that's cool! I like the layers, lots of depth to them and good to see a fellow 360 artist! I'm sure our videos will get hunted out in time as headsets become more accessible - liked.
Thanks! Yeah, I agree. And I hope so. I really enjoy making them.
Lush layers of deep sounds take me on a cosmic journey of inner proportions. Thank you!!✨✨✨
Your very welcome. Thanks for stopping by.
Excellent!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
Oh my! Lol! You are on to something! Love it! 😊❤
Thanks
Another BANGER baby! Wakey wakey people.......robotic cats and dogs living together, they are eating the DAWGS of the people who live there. The three enemies of the people are........
Your visuals are stunning. Beautiful.
Thank you.
The 360 doesnt function on my phone...
@@TheSkyHive are you using the TH-cam app? It usually doesn't work unless you do.
Nice work, very colourful! 🙂
Thanks, long ways to go to get mandelbulber to bend to my will, but getting some of the basics down.
Was the cook bread comment meaning this took a while to render? I can't workout what sort of software that is you have used.
Yes, the render took more time than anticipated. Using Blender. Mostly trying to incorporate a few different looping strategies. I believe the shaders were my biggest issue.
@@BoggleLogic Hi - Ah, Blender. I use Daz for my animations on YT (and Mandelbulber for the fractals) but I've read a lot of great things about blender and it seems to be a lot more versatile and flexible than Daz, but daz has access to loads of great 3D models. Not sure about Blender but in Daz you can change the res of the shaders to help speed up the render, like if something is not close up you probably don't need to use a 4k res version of the shader sort of thing. that said Daz is so slow at rendering compared to other stuff like unreal, but I think one of the reasons unreal is so fast is it bakes the shader/materials so it doesn't have to keep reloading it every frame. It means you don't get the perfect lighting responses on (sub)surfaces but it's generally not something people would notice too much on a video anyway. It can be a quicker render for a video to export into unreal but it always seems so much of a hassle to set up - hopefully that will improve. Anyway, I've liked and subbed you, look forward to seeing more work 👍
Thanks for the input. I've never really looked into Daz. I am certainly interested in mandelbulber. I have been doing my fractals in geometry nodes in blender but have yet to find the sweet spot between enough detail and blender crashing or taking days to render a single frame. I have Unreal too, but have not incorporated it into my workflow just yet. Still kind of new to all of this so taking small steps for now. Really enjoyed "Trainspired" BTW looking forward to digging into some of your other videos.
@@BoggleLogic thanks lots re video ...always a big ask expecting people to watch my long vids! 😀 If you can use Blender it shows you have an aptitude for these types of software so if keen on fractals I recommend Mandelbulber (it's what I exclusively use) It's free and being continually developed, as great support on FB and renders really quickly for basic/medium models as it's GPU based (as opposed to mandelbulb3D which is a much slower CPU - and I don't think it had been developed further for years). I remember being able to make some impressive looking fractals really quickly, like same day (and they have loads of examples you can use and click a series of randomise buttons if need be). The camera and co-ord work a bit different to Daz/Blender and you use keyframes but easy to learn, but it's like most software it has it's quirkiness & techniques needed and to get full control over what's going on it takes a bit of time. If you do like it chances are you'll be looking at hi-spec nividia cards for your pc before long (if not got already) - it flies then. I keep telling myself to learn unreal, on my 'must do' list ...along with other things like 'get a life' instead of making videos all the time! lol 🥴
Lol, I have a very similar list. downloading mandelbulber RN hopefully get a chance to check it out later on tonight. I am currently running a 3080 gpu hopefully that is enough to get started.
You should check out FLOAT VR. The devs are really cool guys. I have made multiple suggestions that they onboarded. I could see you working well together. U can get Quest 2 now for $150 after rebate........hard to recommend now that I know how improved Quest 3 is, but it would at least get u started, plus we could hang.
Imagunna watch this is VR on a IMAX screen! If you make these viewable in a 360 field I know many people who will enjoy this.......
Already working on it. Much more involved but worth it for sure.
Hell yeah!!! WUB WUB WUBBA WUB.....oocha oocha ew!
I searched for the bottom for what felt like weeks, but the end is the beginning is the end.
