Chicken curry rice and naan is a frozen microwave meal probably cost £2 at the most, Grimsby doesn't have a peak season it's always grim hence the name Grimsby.
Absolutely. It was delicious though all the same. Grimsby doesn’t have a peak season!? There’s next year’s holiday plans ruined 😩
poor lighting on film could not see any food
@@johnbrown3409 Yeah, nothing I could do about it I’m afraid. The whole restaurant was bathed in a dim blue neon-type light…
But thanks for telling me anyway. I'll make sure I use a better low-light camera for hotel reviews in future, in case of poor lighting.
Looking forward to the seaside

Cleethorpes nice fish and chips on the pier I seem to remember. Been there a couple of times but just stayed by the sea. Spent a lot of time in Lincolnshire nearly moved there wonderful country. Love Skegness spent a lot of time there but I don't think I want to go now as it seems to be full of non native people. Horncastle is lovely little market town loved it there so much and miss the relaxed vib you got there. Thank you for that I'm getting quite emotional talking about it all ❤❤
@@jaynerichardson3807 Funny you should mention fish and chips…Stay tuned for my Cleethorpes video coming next.
No idea where you've been staying but that price including breakfast is incredibly cheap
Great video review Jon. I have never been to Grimsby! Immingham is the closest I made or maybe Hull. I'm not sure which is the closest to be honest! That curry looked pretty good too! Was the hotel really quiet? looks deserted ! I stayed in the HIE in York a while ago - it was one of my first ever videos - it was nice enough but I think this one in Grimsby was better. Keep them coming mate!
Thanks mate. Yeah it was really quiet. Mid December and Sunday night so to be expected, especially in Grimsby 😅. I found it pretty tidy and comfortable.
Mind you Hull Trains could have ordered few more Class 802 Paragons and to run 10-Car from London King’s Cross to Hull Paragon.
I have been to Grimsby once I think I had watched the film of the same name and was in the area. Yes a bit non discript. That film was strangely fun to watch though I think I'm scared for life 😅. Anyway thank you for that and the time you take making these things ❤❤

I was told by locals that it is owned by a family from the travelling community that have several business interests in the town. Looks very basic but it is priced accordingly.
One of the largest construction projects in Hungary (National Hauszmann Programme) is currently underway in Budapest. The area around the Parliament and the entire Buda Castle district is being renewed. Several buildings that were damaged in World War II are being rebuilt according to their original plans. Several are already complete. But only now has work started on the Royal Palace. One part of the building has already been demolished because the original is being rebuilt. Unfortunately, during the communist period, many barbaric operations took place there. At the top of Gellért Hill, the Citadel is also being rebuilt. I think it will be worth visiting Budapest in 5 years!
Thank you 🙏
Cool city. Good filming.
@@capitaonemo7216 Thank you
It is not a railway station. The great hall market originally had a danube canal, thats why its so wide the downstair corridor. The wares in the past came in on ships like in Venice.
man, you went up the castle hill with the escalator and the lift, came down and went back up on foot and you did not realize you were like 50 m from the point you went first 😁
@@freebozkurt9277 Yep, got my steps in that day 😉
great video! I'm Hungrian, I love Budapest, and I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much!
Thank you 🙏 So glad you liked it 😊
The similarity to the Great Market Hall railway station is not accidental. Until 1965, it had a direct railway connection with the Budapest railway network. In fact, it also has a direct connection to the Danube quay. But it was built as a market from the beginning and was used as a market. Many people don't know, but there is also a basement level. This is where the fish and pickled vegetables are kept. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Market_Hall 7:18 The building was the place to pay the bridge toll. There were two on each side of each old Budapest bridgehead. (In order of construction, Chain Bridge, Margaret Bridge and Liberty Bridge, then called Ferenc József Bridge, old Erzsébet Bridge, Miklós Horthy Bridge). These two original buildings have survived. 11:01 The pronunciation in English transcription is siklatemplom. (Hungarian sz= English s. Hungarian s = English sh). Szikla= rock. Temple = temple About half of the sounds of the Hungarian language are present in English, but their writing is different. Accents on vowels are important. Their absence can cause a change in meaning e.g Álom= dream , alom= animal bedding (straw ). Nevertheless, we can still figure out what a foreigner wanted to say even without accents. The Hungarian language has two words for a queen. If the power is hers, then királynő / kiraynea. If the king's wife, then királyné /kirayne". Sissi was the latter. Maria Theresa, on the other hand, was the former. Sissi was a very popular ruler in Hungary. She spent a lot of time in Buda and Gödöllő. There is a castle in the latter place, which was named the Gödöllő Royal Castle. It can be reached by train from Keleti Railway Station. Currently, in addition to direct trains, any train departing for Gyöngyös and Eger stops there. There is a Royal Waiting Building at the station. 15:04 The word genius in this case means inventors. There were many of them. The nuclear scientists who emigrated to America only called themselves Martians. 25:02 Turul statue. In this form, a Hungarian symbol. Hungarian mythological animal. Such a bird appeared in the dream of the ancestor of the first royal family. The bird predicted that her sons would become great kings, but not in the place where she lived at that time. 25:09 József Róna was the sculptor.. The statue depicts Prince Jenő of Savoy. He was one of the commanders of the army that retook Buda in 1686. Originally, the Serbian city of Zenta ordered it, but they could not pay for it. That is why the reliefs depict the Battle of Zenta ( 1697 sept 17) . By the way, this was the battle where the Ottoman Empire finally lost its conquest of Hungary (The era of Turkish occupation: 1526-1697). About cranes. The reconstruction of the Buda Palace and its surroundings is underway, the Hauszmann program. They want to restore the state before World War II. Finally, the Hungarian government bought the statue, and it was placed here.
@@tamaslukacs3173 Wow. Thanks for all that 🙏
Hello That salad-like thing is called csalamade. Many kinds of vegetables cut up and pickled. We eat them with fatty foods because they help digestion. There are many pickled vegetables (e.g. cucumbers, cabbage, peppers, onions, melons..). The pasta is called nokedli. But this one looks more like a galuska. Nokedli is smaller. Both pastas are traditional side dishes for paprika chicken.
