A Paris, je me suis chauffé de faire une musique en décortiquant un peu plus attentivement la musique de NTO (et de French79). J'ai donc essayé de travailler sur :
- fréquences hi-hat et reverb hi-hat sur transitions
- automations sur synthé cut/off, reverb
- création de synthé sur ASTRA
- gestion des panoramiques
- gestion des basses fréquences (KICK, BASS - sidechained)
- sound design avec reverb, delay
- mouvements de bpm (descend avant drop, descend à la fin)
Voilà. J'ai cependant toujours du mal sur pas mal de points..
- mix final ????
- volumes ???
- compression mix ???
- reverb mix ???
- automations mix ???
- bref.
On s'améliore tout doux quoi.

In this video, I use an AKAI MPK MINI to connect it to garageband IOS. I give a short demonstration of live looping. anyone know how to use the MPK with a RC600 but utilizing midi like garageband but keeping the post-midi sounds? i have the lightning adapter but the audio 3.55m out on the mpk sends a pre-midi signal, only the onboard preset sounds. nothing from garageband/virtual instruments. bought the ai-micro but that doesn't do it
What is a RC600 ?
@@neve_music boss loop station. goal is to get the midi sounds out of the MPK to the pedal. if you use the headphone out on the mpk, it's only onboard sounds. if you want midi, no dice.
How would you connect earphones to this setup?

It's mine. I "composed" it for the video ! But the chords are very basic, it's sure that they have been used in a lot of songs before :)
Could you make a video showing how you choose the different synth sounds that you commonly use? I am running an identical setup so this was perfect timing but I am getting lost in the number of instrument options. Thank you!
thanks for your comment! It's true that it's easy to get lost... My method is to aim for a basic structure that's almost always the same. That is to say: a kick, a snare, an open Hat, shakers, then a bass, a pad, maybe BELLS or a synth for a melody. For me, that's what you have to find first. With this structure, you can go through different progressive stages, and I think that helps a lot! Hey I have a hardware question. I have an akai mpk mini exactly like yours and use a powered usb lightning adapter to iphone with garageband. Everything is connected and working well except if I use bluetooth headphones connected to the iphone there is too much latency. But since the lightning adapter is being used to connect to the akai I don't have any way to direct line my headphones to the iphone. How do you handle this problem?

I used a usb adapter that allows both the piano and an iPhone charging cable to be connected.

What hardware did you have? Is that a Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter? What's the black box on the left?
It is a power bank, some phones need one in the connection because the midi requires more energy, there are some midis that have a low power mode, but at the end depends on your phone, mine can handle the akai mpk mini without a power bank but it does consume more battery life 🔋🔋
And it is the camera adapter but you can use only a USB to lighting adapter, and a USB hub if you need to connect the power bank

Hey ! I record the sound with the screenrecord feature with iPhone. I hear what I play directly from the speakers of the phone. I tried with Bluetooth but there is too much delay to play live…
I agree and i was wondering that if you had an additional 3.5 mini jack output on the adaptor that would do. Idk can you try it?

Connected mpk3 to iphone 14 via the same adapter and it doesn't work :/ any tips on how to make it work?
Hey ! It was the same for me. You need to have an adaptor that has at least two inputs : one for the cable phone - akai mpk and one for charging your phone. It means that it only works when your phone is somehow connected to a charging cable (my English is not very good so tell me if you have understood...)
