Being a Client Adviser in a luxury retail environment is all about the client focus, building a strong lasting relationship with clients and maintaining communication with work phone, as outreach at all times, client is always the captain of the team. Its also very important to have product knowledge and history of brand heritage to start a selling ceremony. Also, having a positive and business owner mindset. The 5th Ave store is NOT the place to work if you wanted nice clients. My C.A. Claudia in Manhasset and I love her to pieces and refer plenty of people to her. I did go to NYC just to experience the VIC lounge which was great and I have a C.A. there for limited pieces but 5th Ave has ALOT of personality clashes and expectations. I also worked at Dior while in college down the block and the atmosphere and expectations were unrealistic. PS I think it sucks LV only pays like $1 commission from canvas sales.
