Humility is very important in Islam, anyone that calls himself a Sufi is not a Sufi and anyone that calls himself a Salafi is not a Salafi, both are misguided. Other people can call you that, but if you do it yourself you are just arrogant. All the true Sufis are Salafis in the actual sense of the term, not the new age Wahabi lie, but the actual meaning of following the Sunnah of the Prophet from the interpretation of the Salafs and that in our modern time can only be done by following one of the Madhabs, not inventing a new Sunnah by yourself.
