Been gorge walking at Ashgill about 15 times and it has beeb different everytime. This was the best, river levels were good so seen bits of the beck I hadn't seen before. Brilliant activity that I highly recommend

Update: Apparently the fish are a mixture of minnows, Salmon Parr & Small Trout. Messing about when Canoeing with the action cam and put the camera under water to see what was down there. Plenty of little fish, haven't a clue what they are like. 21.6.17

Family Trip to the Hoppings!! Kids enjoyed it, rides are a rip off but they don't go on a lot!!! Maisie went on the water walkers, couple off merry go round swings, slides, teacups, horses, fun house, sea storm!! Rosie loved the big slide running wild 😀

With the path/cycle path on the North Side of the coast road being out of action, someone asked me the best way to get from the Coast Road/Station Road roundabout (Wallsend) to South Gosforth. This is the route i would take and its quite quick and virtually all off road on cycle paths.

Took a diversion on my way to work to check out Wallsend park and Wallsend Hall grounds, it is a lovely little park for a walk about, plenty to do and well kept gardens. Highly recommended for a visit.

The only goal i have seen Newcastle score at Wembley in my life time. We hammered Chelsea the whole game and should have went onto the final which we would have won.

Via Ferrata inside Honister slate mine, its pretty dark as lighting wasn't to good. I have sped the video footage up but it gives you a good idea of what it is like in the mine. I had the camera on my helmet so it isn't the best footage.

Following the via ferrata inside the slate mine we headed out to climb Black Scar which towers above the slate mine. it look about an hour from when we came out of the mines where the video starts. Weather wasn't the best up there so the views were misty clouds at the top. It is 2008ft at the top of Black Scar.
