Stock Kawasaki 750turbo ..1984 E1, Kawasaki’s last air cooled super bike! H2 triple’s true successor 👍 Imported from the states. The bike was complete but hadn’t run for approx 25yrs! The tyres where dated sept 1989! 16000mls from new.

A lovely little time machine..! The rising pitch of the engine note of the Kawasaki two stroke triple is just totally amazing and unique!! They should be retro reproduced..! There would be quite a groundswell of buyers . . right?!

Superb bike for high speed Planted travel, Couriered on a nearly new Kawa.750 turbo in '84. Serious serious time Engaging the turbo ??, HANG ON Tight. !!!.
Clocked up 10,000 miles on one of these back in 1976 and 77. Exciting bike to ride with great performance for that era. Fuel consumption was on the high side, I recall, but fuel was very cheap back then.
Lovely bike. I'm currently collecting parts to restore my US import S2. built late 71, I've just bought a dating certificate from Rick Brett so I can register it and have the 'J' number plate on the shelf. Good for morale during a long expensive resto to have the paintwork and plate to glance at now and again I find. 👍

Had a nearly new 750 turbo, "84, at the time, most special bike, of any size. Couriered on it,, sampled all it had to offer, very planted high speed mph.springs to mind, and the WOOOSH, of engaging the turbo, NICE. And yet had most Kawasaki FUN, on my very very healthy, nearly new GT750, SUPERB.No bike Kawasaki for 27 years, March 19 got a 05 GSF Bandit 650 inj. SHEET, BEST BIKE EVER,, capable of over 80 mph, before the red line, in 2nd gear was a Joy, first Proper ride in 27 years,a mile or so into it, 4th gear 6,500rpm., said 92 mph, Actual 89, Red lines at 12,000, WHAT NO, WHAT no, yes,, through a Chicane in approx. 80mph. outside lane, 80 mph,, TOTALLY UPRIGHT, PROPELLED FORWARD,all at the back wheel SADLY now a semi retired Crazy MAD Banditateer, FEKKIN Banditaholic, ruined for any other bike, and I ain't even lying. 19, 20 months of BLESSED Bandit Time, Times. Got a PhD Masters Degree, in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical, ruined I'm sure, and I'm not even lying.yours Scott Loch. Very nice vid. Takes me back. The RD350 was the deal in the day, but maybe this was better? Certainly a VERY rare bike now. Thanks! :)
The S2 was a little faster than the RD in a drag race, was a bit less prone to surprise wheelies, and I think most people would say it looked and sounded better. The RD had a better sorted suspension, better grunt in the low to mid range, was 6-speed instead of 5, and was easier to keep tuned. Objectively the RD was probably a slightly better package. The differences are small enough that it's really a matter of which one your heart cries out for. When I bought my 400 triple, the guy literally had an RD350 right next to it, also for sale. After hearing the Kawasaki go up and down the road, my choice was set in stone.
@@JETZcorp thx for the comments. I’m sure you are right… I have never ridden an air-cooled RD ( my brother had a 350 LC ) or an S2. But both great bikes from the golden age. My first bike was a Suzuki 250 hustler and later amongst others I had a GT750. It was the only bike I had that scared me .Engine was light years ahead of it's frame . I loved it and the 900r I got later on . Wish I still had them ...sigh
The bike handled excellent for the time, it was the GPz900R that took motorcycles to the next level! Bringing it out just after the turbo basically killed of the turbo sales. Making it the future classic it is today.
I have kz750 same engine but no turbo, and now I want turbo.
Brings back memories! Ditch the silencers; it'll run fine and sounds the nuts!
If they are OEM and in good shape, they could finance all manner of upgrades, or even start a new project!
Bought one new in 1985 (£3200 on the road) regularly ran it with silencers removed. The bike would wheelie with ease, specially with my then girlfriend on pillion. No fear when your 19.....lol
