This is a great Video. It really does change the sounds. But its odd.... It sounds better stock on some riffs. And other riffs. the Green Back sounds better. But all in all; Great comparison Video! Thank You!

I watched this video for a 3rd time. I have been playing guitar for 10 months. I practice and play 2-3 hours every day. Retired. I own the Vypyr VIP-1 and am looking at purchasing a VIP-2. Today, you taught me amp variables. A Peavey, with different guitars, with green/orange/red Vypyr settings, played on different bridge pickups has different results. Yikes. This means I can take metal like sounds (XXX for example) on the Vypyr VIPs which I don't enjoy and tone them down for my 73 year old hearing. Long comment I guess. Thanks for the education. Which amp?

Your voice volume is almost imperceptible when the guitar is turned up to the right volume. Maybe simply speaking louder would solve the problem. But it is a good presentation of a little known but great guitar. This guitar needs more publicity! Thank you.

Hey really appreciated that you did this review using an amplifier that didn't cost thousands of dollars. EMGs seem to have a less intense high end than the Legator Hive pickups. In my experience it's much easier to "add" additional EQ than to remove it. Hive pickups seem to be totally acceptable, but may be more suited for players that are more experienced with equalizing.

Might I suggest you play it through first before breaking it down note for note?

Well, thanks a lot, man. I've had the same problem with my Iron Label 7 Ibanez. Really nice guitar I was about to sell just because of this. It's now fixed and I couldn't be happier with the result. I can't believe I was about to sell this guitar. It has the best humbucker splitted sound of all my collection.

Actually sounds like a death metal vocalist. You wouldn’t need a singer,..just another guitarist with a better sounding amp.

Peavey has more Realism still to this day and you do not need a computer program to get the MOST out of a VYPYR either, unlike the Katana whose software updates are a pain.
