@benchristopher76 Great news! Line 6 released its updated version of the Catalyst series. Adding an extra 6 Helix amp models to its new series of Catalyst amps! Meet the Catalyst CX series, that has a different speaker grill on it, compared to the original Catalyst amp. These new updated amps come in versions of 60 watt, 100 watts, and 200 watts. Once your music shop gets one in, please do a Line 6 Catalyst 60 vs. Line 6 Catalyst 60 CX. And maybe a video on the difference between the Peavey Vypyr X2 vs. the Line 6 Catalyst 60 CX. Also, the nice thing about these updated Catalyst amps, is that you can literally turn on, and off the noise gate by pressing on one of the knobs on the amp. I believe, you press the boost knob, and turn it to the right to turn on the noise gate. You're going to have to play with that feature when your store gets the Catalyst CX amp. Also please test ou 7 and 8 string guitars with that amp. One thing you forgot to do is test out a 9 string with the original Catalyst 60 amp. I'd like to hear that sounds with the Catalyst 60 CX amp. I'm glad Line 6 released an updated version of the Catalyst series. I'll have to test out the updated Line 6 Catalyst amp at guitar center soon. HOpefully with a 7 string guitar, I prefer the Jackson JS 2207. You should demo that guitar in a video too. 26.5 inch scale sounds fantastic. you can go down to Drop G! Also I will for the first time try a 9 string guitar at G.C. one of these days and plug into a Line 6 Catalyst 60 CX, or the Catalyst 100 CX amp! Keep it metal my friend, and looking forward to watching more demos you have in store for your channel! Just giving you the exciting news on what Line 6 released!
