I have a 1/2" ridgid mid torque and some of their saws but have worked at Lowe's the last 2+ years and came up and a decent amount of kobalt clearance and bogo deals. I also have some m12/18 and a few others from really good refurbished/specials so i got a Ridgid battery to those brands so im not having a ton of platforms. Anyways we had this 3/8 impact wrench on clearance, im guessing it's maybe the 1st gen. Its 3824b-03 but it was $49 on clearance and as a display my manager gave it to me for $15.. I have the 3/8 right angle which is good so o don't really need another impact wrench but for $15.... Cmon now.

Since this is 3 years ago, am a bit late, but your rad caps are the wrong way round and was probably your issue.

My girlfriend bought these for me as a Christmas present today. I am an industrial maintenance mechanic and own mostly Icon tools. I have been using Milwaukee screwdrivers and hated not having a case. My impression also was wow the handles are huge. Take up a lot of palm space. A lot of times, im trying to do three things with one hand, like balance a part, hold a hose off to the side while turning the fasteners, and these seem bulky. On the other hand, they seem solid and work worthy. Definitely will keep my other drivers, but this will be a beautiful addition to my top drawer.

I picked up a 2014 sedan a month ago with 100,000km (62k miles). I was surprised how different USDM and JDM are: Dash Clock is a full on LCD screen that shows boost, power distribution/c-diff and steering angle, acceleration, fuel economy (and history), navigation (upcoming turns) and a couple other things. The gauge cluster also has LCD in the middle that has a cool animation of the car when you get in, displays S-Drive/C-Diff info, fuel economy and current gear. The steering wheel doesn't have the same buttons. Where the talking/phone paddles are on the USDM, JDM has Si-Drive control only. Another is keyless entry/lock and push button start. Center console has USB. Engines are 2.0l though. When walking close to the car, there are lights under the side mirrors that light up, then turn off if you walk away.

I bought one of these new, looked exactly like this but not the Limited. Flat bottom steering wheel wasn't an option, but there was a flat bottomed aftermarket one that looked exactly like the stock wheel. Still miss the car, don't miss that Navigation head unit.

My problem is the 3rd gear. Over 2900 RPM it start to grind/less easy to engage. Will use a more “Eco” approach with that gear 😂 and double shift (2 to 4) on the Highway.

Thanks for the insightful vid, any particular reason why you chose the 3/8” over the 1/2” version? I believe both are identical with the exception of the anvil size and breakaway torque specs. I’m looking into getting this impact for suspension and brake work and indecisive if I should go with the 3/8” or 1/2”.

Mine has busted many nuts loose on my semi. Latest was a 2 3/16 yoke nut on imput shaft on my front differential. Guys that say it won't bust a lug nut off probably don't own big boy impact sockets and just hating. Is the Milwaukee better? Probably but also twice the price.

I just replaced my temperature sensor and now my thermostat goes all the way to hot even though my engine is overheating. I try to burp the air out for a week and still my thermostat goes too hot. What do I do?
