I believe in the most recent TR2 main you should have a bat file called setup, double click that and it should give you the setup, otherwise try the Right click Tomb2 > create shortcut method shown at the start 😃

hmm i'm not sure of this error :/ have you tried completely uninstalling it from steam and then redoing it, also are you doing the T1X patch or the TombAti one?

sadly atm Texture packs are only compatible with Tombati and not TR1X :( but they are hoping to add texure packs to TR1X in the future :D

hey! okay so try this solution, go to this link and download them core-design.com/community_tr2fmvremaster20th.html once you've downloaded them, go into the game directory and replace the cutscenes inside the folder called "fmv" with these new ones you downloaded then once they're inside the folder you will need to rename them to remove the "(30FPS)" so for example "ANCIENT(30FPS)" will need to be renamed "ANCIENT" and so on for the rest of them, i hope that helps :D

so when you install the patch there needs to be a folder inside the directory called "saves" and that's where you put your old saves into the patch and then you're good to go :D

@@GHoleary619 ok but finaly the game doent liked the patch and started as if i didnt have instaled it. So i found back my saves xd

@@GHoleary619 i instaled the mod once, i played the game but dont found my saves, i closed. I started the game latter and steam DL some TR2 files and it was like if i didnt instal the patch. But my saves were here like before the patch instal so i will finish it with joy to key or something.

@@swarfiga9881so the patch detects saves from the “saves” folder but the regular game detects your saves from the game directory, so in your game directory where you have “savegame.0” and so on above “Tomb2.exe” those need to be moved inside a folder called “saves” The quickest way to do it is install the patch, run the game and save in the first level, then close the game and the saves folder will be created and then you just drag your old saves outside the folder, in to the folder :)

@@GHoleary619 i didn’t xfer the files to the tr2 files so its my bad. I didnt end up playing as when i press buttons on my pad its links to other keyboard buttons so when i roll it draws weapons as well, any idea how to sort this? sorry for the spam

@@chrisstarkey4270that will be steams inputs of your controller clashing with the game reading it (i imagine it’s with TR2Main) so you can either disable “enable joystick” in the setup window and use Steams inputs for your controller, or completely shutdown steam, reconnect your controller and open the game from the games folder :D

you can't manually save? you can usually save by pressing F5 on your keyboard, or going to the passport mid game, and tap right to hit save game if you're using TR2Main then in the directory folder make sure there is a folder called "saves" and then try going into the game and saving again :) let me know how it goes

tried both solutions did not work the issue is that it is not saving anything to to passport all empty slots@@GHoleary619

hey, i'm really sorry for the late reply, usually if it's a black screen issue (assuming you're doing TR2Main) then this will be the fix : www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 give that a try and see if it fixes it, you'd be able to change the control setting in game :)
