    I believe this is the vessel I’m going on in May 2025. How was the cruise overall?

    • @adventurefound
      @adventurefound หลายเดือนก่อน

      We really enjoyed it. We hadn't done any cruises before so we weren't sure what to expect. We were told by a Tripadeal manager to lower our expectations as what we might consider rude or unacceptable behaviour is considered normal in China. This got us a bit concerned, but it turned out that we had nothing really to worry about. It's not a cruise like a Princess or P&O cruise, but we did enjoy it.

    • @antonk6566

      @ Glad to hear! We haven’t cruised either but have already been to China on a 10 day tour with Tripadeal earlier this year so we know what to expect. Overall most people we interacted with in China were very friendly and yeah there’s some cultural differences in behaviour at times but nothing really bad. We Loved China enough to go back and see a lot more on a 20 day trip next year!

    Aussie 35 massage is cheap by Malaysian standards. Malaysia charges about aus30-60(1Aus = 3MYR) for a 1-2 hour and you can find those pilipin illegal immigrants selling sex for Aus 180-200 as well. Room size is appropriate for the amount they are charging unless you want to compare to those EU cruise prices LOL. Every caucasian expect China is dirt cheap no? hahahaha

    • @adventurefound
      @adventurefound 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @mozinoz7103 yes, we did it through Tripadeal too! The room upgrade wasn't that expensive. There were several options. You could just upgrade the room, or just upgrade the dining room. There were 3 different dining room options. On our trip, everyone upgraded to the top level dining room, but not everyone upgraded the rooms. From memory, we paid about $550AUD total to upgrade the room to the highest option and the dining to the highest option.

    • @adventurefound
      @adventurefound 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! Good point! Unfortunately, I no longer have this keyboard, however, let me explain it. Each key is held in place at the rear by a small spring. I simply grasped the top of the spring with the pliers, and lifted it, allowing the spring to be removed. Then the key itself simply lifts out. They do have a little catch type hook on them which stops them from pointing up, which is the part that was snapped off one key. Once the springs are off, the keys basically just come straight out. Refitting is just the reverse process.

    Hey thank you for the video I actually just got one of these myself someone in town was just going to get rid of it and I said hey hey I'll take it if you're just going to get rid of it. Facebook marketplace thing and they said they were trying to get to work there were some keys that were missing which they had and then they said they tried taking apart once but when they put it back together again they couldn't get it to work and they had since then lost the power cord. I have since obtained the power cord and I'm taking it apart and also again thank you for the video my question is where do I track down the little springs I need probably just like 7. Is there like a technical name for them that kind of thing thank you you see this comment and can reply

      Hi! Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you found the video helpful. Luckily, I didn't need any springs when I did this repair. I would assume that most specialist musical instrument stores should be able to source the parts for you. I had a quick look on eBay for you but was unable to find anything. Another idea would be to look out for another E20 on marketplace or ebay that may be going free or cheap, and you may be able to use one of them for parts to make 1 complete one.

      Hi! Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with that model, and the repair featured in this video was a once off that I made as I worked it out myself. I am not a technician at all, and I don't even own the E20 that I repaired anymore. I have had a quick search for possible tips for you, but I may need a bit more information, as I don't seem to be able to find much at all that sounds like the same problem. I did read that the E86 is easily damaged when opened, so I'd suggest that perhaps something may have become damaged or disconnected when you opened it?

      @@adventurefound I’m sure you’ll find a spare moment. The E 20 is very good and a legend and yes, I’m certainly not parting with my E 30 as again, it is a real legend has a lot of character and I certainly love the extra stuff on board, the E 30, including the extra 64 sounds et cetera. I’ve got much more modern keyboards as well which are fantastic including my recent purchase of a Yamaha PSR SX 900 which is brilliant and modern. However, and again, the E 30 certainly has a special place in my heart, and I wanted to salvage one for years, as I gladly owned one years ago and regretted selling it so again, the one I have I am definitely going to keep, been using in some of my multi track demos.

  • @bestrickie2

    Hello again, I recently managed to change the internal battery of my stunning Roland E 30. Again, I am extremely pleased with it and the electrics inside are very similar to yours, but as mine is the E 30, I’ve noticed a few extra chips and again, my E 30 holds an extra 64 stunning sounds giving a total of 128. One of these extra sounds is a brilliant, slow strings sound I have always cherished. I will certainly not be parting with this keyboard as I had a huge desire for a long time to salvage one and again, luck was on my side last year. The other feature missing on the E 10 is the card slot which your E 20, my E 30 and others have this facility. When I purchased my stunning keyboard last year, I also got a music style card and I have bought two other music style cards since and they are very good though, extremely dated this technology, but very sentimental and very good for the timespan. Have you managed to get hold of the caps for the volume and tempo sliders and did you manage to get hold of a new pitch bend joystick?

    • @adventurefound

      @@adventurefound oh good. Have you finished making the second one from the other as a downer? I’m STILL loving the good old vintage E-30 I salvaged last year and the new internal battery is working fine. Though these type of keyboards synthesisers are very dated, they are absolutely brilliant and certainly the one I salvaged recently is extremely sentimental and has character to it and so therefore, I will not be parting with it, NO chance. Of course of course, I’ve got far more modern sophisticated music keyboards but again, this vintage E 30 is absolutely brilliant and it is not the first one I had as I owned one many years ago but I regretted selling it and again, this one I salvaged last year, I will not be parting with and it is in better condition than the previous one I owned many years ago.

Yesterday, I managed to salvage a Roland E 30 which I am absolutely delighted with. The E 30 was released during spring 1990 and holds a few extra features including, 64 extra sounds giving a total of 128 including a fantastic slow string sound as well as every other sound. It also has an boards extra accompaniments music styles called easy eight which can be found on a separate music style card available for those keyboards. As I was saying, I’d love to get my hands on an E 30 Roland which is very much like the E 20 but has an extra 64 additional sounds and a few other features but it is an extreme rarity as they are very sought after. II were you I’d keep the E 20 which is in the best condition and use the other one which is maybe not in as good condition as spare parts as you never know when things come in handy. For example, if the power supply became worn out and other, at least you would have a spare one. I wish I could even get a VST plug-in with all those sounds including the extra 64 from the E 30. Having said that, I’ve got a Roland pro E which is based on the E 20 and other linear arithmetic sound engine but it only has 64 stones which are very good by all accounts but as I used to gladly own an E 30 it definitely had extra sounds making a total of 128 and other features.

      Hello, a little update good news, I managed to salvage a Roland E 30 I’m so pleased with and I will not be parting with this one. Again, the subtle difference between the E 20 and others are like, the E 30 as on board an extra 64 sounds which can be accessed in group a and group B. It also has on board, and extra easy eight accompaniment styles. Is it quite easy to take out their internal battery question I ask, as mine is also showing check internal battery. I am assuming it will be the same model of battery as yours. yes I am extremely pleased with the E 30 I found on eBay in very good condition for its age as I understand, it’s hard hardly ever been used.

      @@bestrickie2 yes it's very simple to replace the battery. You just take the main body off, and it's just a little coin battery..swap them out, put the body back on, and you're done!

    Thanks so much for showing how to repair this. I have just noticed a problem with a key and was apprehensive about taking it apart. Not now. Jim. Scotland UK

      No problem Jim! I have actually acquired a second one of these, and it also has the same issue as the 1st one! Guess what I'll be doing again this weekend! Good luck with your repairs mate! It's really quite simple once you get in there!

      We don't get out there as much as we would like, but the gardens are beautiful, and well worth the drive.
