I just got an unfinity draft booster box and foundations jumpstart box in the mail was going to try and trade with a few cards on top for two foundations play booster boxes what do you think as a new player keep what I got to add to my collection or try and trade for these

I always have good luck with these, I bought one of the Chaos boxes recently and pulled about $60 worth of cards, all 3 of my Bloomburrow tins have been value, and the last time I bought one of those Mystery Boxes I got an Unstable pack and a Theros pack and made my money back just from the Underworld Breach not counting the Mountain from UNS

$13 for a 3 draft opening experience is a far better price point. i got one. i got a Masters 25 pack. i thought i won. when i cracked open Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind i realized i lost. has Masters 25 been entirely reprinted since it came out? i bought 1. that's it for me.

I had a much different experience. I bought 2 of these and in 1 i got a Time Spiral remastered pack, a Masters 25, and a Midnight hunt. The other box i got a Legends pack, a midnight hunt and a machine booster.

I've gotten 2 Unfinity boosters from these. Kept them sealed, and put them right into my TCGPlayer store.

I opened one 3 weeks ago and got Midnight Hunt, Dominaria United, Crimson Vow and the Welcoming Vampire was the best card. 😂😂

I feel like the gambling aspect of these is the appeal.

Well, at least if you had damaged the first promo with your knife, you would have gotten a second. Not sure if that's the bright side or not though.

The only mystery box I remember being decent from them was the one that almost always had at least one pack of TSR. Cracking Packs has been opening the commander cubes which have been better than the usual MJ Holding stuff, but finding them is rough.

I'm guessing people are wandering around Wally-World and see these an can't help but channel their inner Brad Pitt and just wanna know....

Thanks for the reminder how bad these products are. Good thing I never see these at Walmart.

I sleeved up all 24 anime cards from the jumpstart box I got

maybe a jumpstart batlle in a few part with 3 booster from each classic jumpstart (2020/2022/foundation)

I find that it's basically not worthwhile to open any Play Booster When I go to the LGS and I want to grab a random booster, I am going for sets like WOE or LCI that had set boosters, instead of the newer products. Play booster are basically just draft boosters that you can occasionally get an extra rare from. Not worth the money, basically.

You could probably do lactose give them hell spells what's the cards in this box

I have a hard time with play boosters, the 'added value' just does not justify the added cost to me, as well as making sealed so much swingier. Love it for chaos games, but same can be said for set boosters. I haven't been able to afford to purchase a box since Outlaws and this will have been the first black friday/cyber monday I haven't made a purchase since I got back into the game. I may have officially been priced out of the game, although hopefully will be able to start playing again if I can monetize my storage unit and get rid of it to save some $$$.

Honestly, it’s what a typical foundations play box looks like. Near impossible to get any value back from a play box.
