I was there in my late 20s. It was the best and worst decision of my life. I used to have dreams/nightmares about it and I never told anyone. The drugs they give you prior to the procedure NEVER kicked in for me until it was over. I felt the manual dilation, and I literally felt the flesh being ripped from my body. It was very traumatic and I’ll tell you: IT IS NOT THE EASY WAY OUT‼️ I had to learn to forgive myself. And that’s not a one time process. Everytime I thought about it, I forgave myself. That’s the thing about forgiveness. You have to keep choosing it over and over everyday. Once you forgive yourself, you can move forward. I applaud you for using your platform to be transparent on such a sensitive topic and to bring awareness. I pray for you and your continued healing. 🙏🏾♥️✨
