Sell em for real. Dont just do kickstarter
Got it a few days ago, loved it! I love that cover stock too, another CG book used it (Lost Pages, maybe?)
Hi Wullie. Hope you are keeping well. Comic looks amazing!
Hi, pal. Good to hear from you, and thanks! Doing ok, hope you are too... I finally got Ailsa Dark done and out there. Phew! Hope to start streaming again in a month or two. Take care, mate. It's always good to hear from you.
To bad maniac 2 mr. Robbie didn't get finished it looked awesome
Congratulations 🎉! They look great! Can’t wait to get my copy.
Cheers, mate. Thanks for backing. Just given you a sub. Look forward to watching your content. 👍🥃
Looks very nice Wullie
Cheers. I'm rather pleased with it so far... almost there.
The Terrible Trio & Stat-0 has a classic ring to it like The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem.
Haha… I can just see us all in matching knitted sweaters.
Apologies for being absent recently.
Can't wait to receive this epic. Hail Wullie!
Good to hear from you, pal. I hope all is well. We've missed your incisive and funny observations in the chat.
@@TerrierComics Hi Wullie. You are too kind. I'll be back! Just been extremely busy lately 😔. Hope you are keeping well.
@@notmymonkeysnotmycircus.6448 I know that busy feeling... not enough hours in the day. Take it easy, pal.
awesome :) can't wait
good news, william! looking forward to the conclusion. you're the premium chocolate of indie pulp horror comics. 🍫
Haha. Thanks... That's a fine compliment. Cheers, mate!
1.the duellists 2.sorcerer 3.saturday night fever 4.the disappearance 5.the shout and many more!
The Shout ... good call, that's a fantastic film. One I need to revisit soon, I think 👍🥃
I still rank Saturday Night Fever as the best movie of 1977, with Sorcerer a close second. You’re right about the SNF trailer. But you have to remember, the movie’s producer, Robert Stigwood, was The Bee Gees manager who also owned the label the soundtrack was put on. His top priority in the marketing was to highlight the music and get him a gold record out of it. Worked too, I guess, since the soundtrack is still one of the best selling albums of all time.
I was pleasantly surprised how well the SNF stands up today... and it's also good to see another Sorcerer fan... A stunning move. Thanks for watching and contributing Bob.
@@TerrierComicsbecause it’s not really about disco. At the core, it’s an aimless young person with a dead end job and no real prospects beginning to pull himself out of his rut and maybe go for something better. I think that also explained Tony’s friends. Their tolerable enough, but they get more irritating as it goes on. I think as the audience, we’re supposed to get kinda fed up with them, then it’s a bigger impact at the end when Tony decides he’s also had enough.
Thanks so much for the high praise! So glad the first issue hit the spot for you. Can't wait for you to see next issue.
Cheers, Jim. I'm excited for this comic. It feels like I'm a kid again buying classic Conan comics. Quick favour to ask... Try and talk Titan into doing a large format Black and White version for me :)
I'm hopeful we'll see it in b&w at some point, but I don't know when or what format. @@TerrierComics
Cool! 🙂Thanks for taking the time to reply @@JimZub 👍🥃
I'm overjoyed with the free comic book Day issue and this 1st issue. Exactly how Conan should be. Looks and feels great. Can't wait for the next issue.
I'm feeling the same way as you... it feels good!
As an oldie, I stopped watching it at Tom Baker. I'm very impressed that you both put Patrick Troughton at no.1 - so would I. 👍
Glad you enjoyed the show and thank you for watching. I think we're all surprised at how highly Troughton ranked but he deserved it. And like I said in the show: I think he is probably the most important Doctor of them all (Sorry, Hartnell lol).
Good to know we all have such good taste 🙂
Sorry I missed this live. I was doomscrolling and then mowing the lawn. But, I'm watching the replay. Surprise ending. But, a solid reason for it.
No need to apologize. As long as you enjoyed the show. Cause we both had a great time doing this and what made it more fun was going in blind when it came to each others picks.
Thanks for watching, mate... the ending was a surprise to all of us, but a pleasant one. I think there'll be more WHO in the future for me and Lucifer 👍🥃
Nice! Very Jack-Kirby-ish! I much prefer those old style layouts and colours, to what you see in comic book stores now (as far and few between as they are) which all look the same. It's manga, manga, manga nowadays. And that all looks the same, too!
I agree. There’s a tendency to over colour comics these days.
Another fantastic episode, well done everyone, awesome stuff!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😃
Entertaining conversation! Thank you, Stella, for the shout-out about my upcoming film guide for women!
The time machine makes the hairs on my neck stand up!
Awesome show chaps!
This is getting silly! Missed this as well!
I hope you enjoy the replay, mate... and I hope you make the next one live 🥃
🤟
Amazing show Wullie. How I missed the 'live' I have no idea. Just caught up with it!
Glad you liked it, pal. It was put together at very short notice.
Awesome stuff - great interview!
Cool!
Cheers, mate 🙂
Damn I missed this Wullie! My inconsiderate family were visiting from the States and we were at the pub!
Haha. We missed you, mate... we didn't have much good to say about it... we needed an arm wrasslin' expert 😁 Hope you and your family are having fun!
@@TerrierComics All good my friend. Arm Wrestlers put this on a par with Citizen Kane 🤣
Awesome show as always chaps!
Cheers, mate. Thanks for joining us in the chat. As you saw... Bond brings out the best and worst in me 😆
@@TerrierComics Always a pleasure my friend.
Sorry I missed this live.
It was fun. A near impossible task... and a ranking that will always vary depending on mood... except for Skyfall, I'll always hate Skyfall... lol 😁
So, Deliverance a Folk Horror? It's certainly got the class and "arrogant outsiders" angle. How about The Hitcher from the 90's? Folk Horror or "Western-in-cars"? And how about I Spit On Your Grave for subverted Folk Horror? The middle class city gets it's revenge.
There's definitely a 'feel' to most Folk Horror. Some of the American Gothic stuff fits that feel. However, I like the 'western' idea better for a lot of the American stuff... the revenge theme fits well with this analogy as it's central to a lot of westerns.... I really like your "western in cars" analogy for the Hitcher. Damn, I need to watch that again sometime soon 🙂
Interesting thing you noticed / discovered about Indiegogo. Perhaps campaigns are "shadowbanned" until the previous one on the same account is confirmed fulfilled? That way at least genuine scammers can only scam once per account.
It’s hard to know exactly. But it’s definitely odd and sounds like that could be a possibility.
A Field In England, a Ben Wheatley film who made Kill List which I WOULD class as a Pagan Horror. Great show Wullie :)
teh apes. TEH APES!
Hehe! 🐵
Great show chaps!
Cheers, mate and thanks for the Malt recommendation 👍
The Exorcist is timeless
That it is 👍
Just seconds in...... aaaand we got apes lol. been looking forward to catching up with this :)
Haha... I couldn't resist.

cheers, enjoyed that, : )
Cheers, Peeps 🥃
This looks like a cool collection, are these standard size or oversize ? kinda tempted to buy
They are standard size. I think it’s a good collection with some well chosen stories. I hope to get back to reviewing them soon.
This looks awesome! Who's the artist?
Thanks, VAL Glad you like it. It has a group of artists involved, including myself and some of my former students. I'll list them all on the campaign page when the campaign goes live. Please consider signing up for the mailing list, link above. Cheers!
@@TerrierComics For sure I will! Hail ComicsGate!
@@ValSchnitzel Cheers, VAL... Hail 🍻
Cut this down to 30 seconds then send it to me and I'll promote it on my podcast. www.thehorrorstreamlive.com/index.php/getting-on-the-podcast
Great vid. Shows how absurd things have gotten
Cheers, mate. Yeah, Absurd is the word!
I don't understand the position on Diana, particularly on the book cover. The publisher wanted to have a softporn cover of her presenting her breasts. How is her team offering the CD with the designs that Green Lantern Kyle Rayner did for her in his civilian guise insufferable?
This is such an interesting interview. Thank you. It is great to see Stella's love of cartooning and her evenhandedness in supporting those she does not necessarily share a political outlook with. In the case of free speech we should all support one another's right to it.
Cheers! I’m glad you enjoyed the interview. I agree that we need to support everyone’s right to free speech, regardless of their politics.
