OH man... I didnt know another STudio Ghilbi soundtrack could be soo beautiful...they outdid themselves again... The emotions
the main theme is so hauntingly beautiful, full body goosebumps.
Act VI is such a perfect score for the Great Collapse scene. it invokes that not everything meant to be destroyed is tragic or sad. just like fire's role in the ecosystem, the destruction it brings is also necessary for fostering new life from the ashes
This was one of the worst movies he has ever made, he knows it too, that's why he is out of retirement again
@@mrpipper7271 lol what an opinion. Intresting take though. I thought the film was brilliant
So Porco Rosso and Pom Poko are all masterpieces then?
@@christianaguiare544what? he didnt even direct pom poko, and yes this movie is the worst movie he has ever made, am I wrong???
@@mrpipper7271 The plot is a little funky but you can’t deny the visuals
@@christianaguiare544 Porco Rosso's a masterpiece
The thematical work in this movie is one of the best i have ever seen in any movie. Its so rich. Legacy, processing of trauma and grief, acceptance and letting go, motherhood and metamorphosis.
My God, something about the Warawara theme is magical. I legitimately cannot stop listening to it. Beautiful.
@@sonicfan9144 everytime i listen to it i forget time passes it truly is amazing
Bonjour merci pour avoir rêver avec moi ❤
You don't own the music? Pfft. Could of fooled me
@@buster5661 but what if i actually do!
@@ezzaxxh the plot thickens

How about my animation films soundtrack? like Honor And Glory and A Lonely Man
What do you mean?
@@ezzaxxh is my title animated movies in the future and wish me good luck
15:49 is everything
1:20 and the scene with it is heart rending, I'm always an emotional sucker for those "Don't go!" scenes
Act IV is epic
I agree, one of the best songs
10:15 Mahito's Decision is beautiful
@@davidfeltheim2501 i agree, amazing moment
quiza sea nominada el proximo año
How can it be a beautiful story without such a beautiful soundtrack, this movie is simply a word, masterpiece
The Great Collapse is such a perfect piece ❤
it's literally an ost video that I'm finding. Your order acts is very pleasant to listen to
Thanks bro 🇨🇦❤️
Act VI always gives me the chills, gives a hopeful future for humanity vibe, which is somewhat ironic considering it corresponds to a "Great Collapse".
it moves you to tears, to put it simply
Veramente veramente speciale
Thanks for this❤
Your welcome 😁 thanks for listening 🎧
Good edit! 😊
Good edit 😃😃
I'm going to say this, and please don't be mad at me. The soundtrack doesn't live up to the story.
As much as I don't agree I find your opinion interesting? Why is it you think this way?
@@ezzaxxh heck, english isn't my first language, so I'm bad at describing it. The story feels very loose, the world isn't very well built, the motivation of no character is revealed, except maybe the one of the grand uncle.
@@kensukefan47 Mh for me, I think the motivations of the key characters are all really well presented - through their behavior and actions. Naturally Mahito and his family members are the most obvious/clearly presented. But I also just saw the movie for the 2nd time in the cinema. That certainly helps. I also got one step closer to the core interpretation I think. Simply incredible. I was again brought to tears multiple times.
@kensukefan47 I'm not mad at you. We are all free to like or dislike a movie for various reasons. I have a friend who doesn't like "Lord of the Rings"and "Harry Potter". I'm not a fan of her favorite movies ( mostly romcom) . We are still friends and mocking each other with our taste in movies. Have a great time wherever you are. 👋

I like the great collapse so much but the original is so short. Thank you for making this extended version.
No problem 😊 thanks for listening!
Thank you!
Thank you bro the ost is so amazing but kinda short lol
no problem :) thanks for commenting
Thank you❤ I have been looking for a while❤
Your welcome! Glad I could help you find some amazing music 🎶
This movie really feels like Miyazakis final goodbye.... The realization at the end, that there is no heir to the old men ( Miyazaki himself ) ...
Yea I made that connection too! I think that's why I love the great collapse so much. Thanks for commenting 🙌🏻
Watched a wonderful take on the movie, where it described the protagonist as a representation of his ‘audience’ over the decades. Essentially as ‘Us’. The realisation left me in tears.
I guess you can say that in a way. What I got out of it was: There'll at least be some sort of someone to take at least a building block from your works. Whether it'll for their own stories, improvements, innovations, applications, desires, its up to them to decide. There'll alway at least be a person to take something away and figure out what they should do with it.
@@jaredf.6532 that is a really intriguing take on the ending! Even though miyozaki is finished making movies we are all able to take different things away from it.
I’ve only just finished seeing it and dear god you’re all right. You’re all so right. The little nods to things he’s passionate about I can’t believe I didn’t realise it sooner. Those plane canopies are for aircraft which is one of his great loves and here they are in a film that has nothing to do with aircraft. It really is all his final way of saying goodbye, to us, to his passion for animation, to his love of aviation to it all. It’s all one big metaphor, god that makes this film so much better and it was already good.
