Having a plan in place, being prepared for the emergency is critical. She was not prepared - maybe that would have been less obvious if she had been here. She is incompetent. I find the fact that she is always smiling when she addresses the people - she appears truly gleeful. She is incompetent and must go!

I have always liked blake & Ryan's movies. My views of blake started changing when Blake on sm was making fun of & criticizing Catherine, Princess of Wales when she was recuperating after surgery. To attack her on social media & make fun of her, another young woman, a mother of 3 small children was the act of a mean girl and a bully, especially when POW, Catherine informed the public of a cancer diagnosis. Then seeing the interview with the Norwegian journalist showing blake once again attacking another woman just trying to do her job with the demoralizing mean girl bullying behavior. Seeing how blake treats journalists & other actors with her mean girl snobby, hateful attitude, really changed my opinion of her and I no longer care to see any of her movies. It is really not hard to be nice to people.

Thank you for the PR take on the situation - it was a really interesting podcast and I took away that you are Team Ethical PR! Out of context any evidence can be used to construct a narrative, but distilling it down to facts is key. Emily Baker did a great summary on the legal filings and, while we, the general public, can all make assumptions based on the arguments and presentation of some neatly curated evidence in those filings, I feel we just don't have enough facts. The one thing I took away from Depp vs Heard was that determining which evidence is fact and not out of context narration is vital and that particular televised legal battle effectively allowed the public to also see the evidence, be a 'fact finder,' and make a considered judgement (albeit Depp's team did a better job at how they presented and rebutted because they did also have the better legal team and strategy). I'm also reminded that two things can be true at the same time. Person A might have felt genuinely uncomfortable in their workplace because Person B called someone else wearing leather pants sexy and made them feel objectified. Person B might genuinely believe that since Person A had discussions about the costuming elsewhere which did talk about the sexiness of an item of clothing/a wardrobe look that it was fine to comment. Just because scenario B happened, it doesn't mean scenario A did not, and vice versa. But is this argument less about the potential workplace issues/sexual harrassment and more about PR at the end of the day? I definitely think it's become all about the reputations of the principals, and protecting, defending and/or rebuilding those reputations.

I don't know why this had to happen. Baldoni had given in. He forwarded Lively as the director of the sequel. The negative PR on Lively was subsiding. IEWU was a hit. Even Lively and Reynolds' taking over of the film would probably just be inside Hollywood rumbling. Now they've forced Baldoni to have to fight. And as a man of principle he has to answer to all those people who've believed in him over the years. He has no choice but to release everything. And every ugly detail in that everything my tarnish Baldoni, but it'll probably make others look worse.

JZ going after the lawyer in a PR statement is absurd because that is the job of the lawyer to bring civil cases. If a lawyer is doing something inappropriate it is the job of the state bar to sanction the lawyer not a pompous celebrity defendant. The celebrity defendant focuses themselves on their case to protect their assets from being attached in litigation and that is NOT done whining about the opposing lawyer.

She filed her complaint on Friday, December 20th. The New York Times reached out to Justin Baldoni at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, December 20th asking for a response to their story. They ran the story the next morning on Dec 21st. However, given that the New York Times said they poured over thousands of pages of documents, means either they already had all the text and emails before she filed the complaint or they're lying about pouring over the documents. Which is it? It looks more like Blake's team planted the story with the New York Times before she ever filed her complaint.
