I think I’ll probably do something really boring with it and shore up my 6-9 month emergency fund. I’ve heard it said that I should have 6 to 9 months of savings in case I lose my job or some catastrophe happens. Or I can throw all caution to the wind and book a nice vacation for my sister and I. Like you, I generate a small amount of money from selling on FB marketplace or OfferUp. These are items that someone else may need and can use. That is a very bold statement for someone who only sees a tiny glimpse of the greater picture. Not everything I give and donate has to be shared here on YT and quite frankly, I prefer to keep a chunk of what I donate to women’s shelters, the orphanage and to animal rescue groups private. I don’t tithe because I’m not a member of organized religion nor do I belong to a church, but I do believe in giving. You just see a tiny drop of the full amount.

@@badlands9100 Excellent question. 💯✅. Those contributions go towards the utilities and groceries, if and when there is money from him. Very irregular contributions. This mortgage loan and house has always been “my baby” even way before we ever even met, and my boyfriend, rather housemate, has his own separate monies and if & when he contributes it is to pay gas, electric, water, things like that. We have never commingled our paychecks or money or accounts. I will pay off this house with my own paychecks. 💯✅

Sorry I went on a tangent here. I can hardly believe that I won’t have a mortgage payment anymore. Wow!
