Hi I'm John. I have been woodworking my entire life, from my time working for the family joinery business and more recently a weekend woodworker. I am lucky enough to have two very small shops with the mantra of "Making great things in limited spaces" - Please don't forget to subscribe, it helps a lot.

Warm - its a boudoir. White for the workshop. Looking good
Thanks Peter. I agree 👍🏼 regards JP
Warm light is better than the white light. White light is like sun reflecting off the snow - sunburn of the eyes. LED headlights are no difference. Thanks John.
Great point Paige. Regards JP
The extra screws are for mounting a sacrificial fence.
Thanks Hasting. Regards JP
Mood lighting, you old sauce pot!
LOL. Hi Paul. Hope you’re well. Regards JP
I thought we were going to get away with atleast one video this year without new Chinese tool advert 😅
Hi Mickey. Sorry to disappoint you but bills need to be paid. Regards JP
My personal preference for lighting is cool white or daylight, I tend to go for 6500K I find I can see better with it. Bedrooms are fine with warm white though.
Hi Steve. I need to see what I have in the barn, they are great for that space. Regards JP
A very interesting video... I prefer the warm white lighting cos with it makes everything so cosy.
Hi John. My sentiment exactly. Rooms are too cold looking with 4000+ kelvin. Regards JP
Coming along nicely JP.👍👍
Thanks Terry. Regards JP
Looking really great JP👍 - definitely warm white for that location but I'm just ordering cool white for my workshop to replace old fluorescent tubes. It's about time you made that stand/trolley for the Triton thicknesser before your back starts to suffer☹
Hi Roy. Thank you. Yes, cool for the workshop. I am way past back ache 😣 but at least my hamstrings get a workout 🏋️♂️ just can't seem to find the time to design and make something! Regards JP
"Yer not going to make to much dust, are you?" " No dear." Hands her a roll of bin liner bags. "Ye may want to cover up some, just in case." Nice progress JP. Thanks for bringing us along. Take care & stay safe.
Hi Doug. For me thats not much mess😂 Regards JP
Really enjoyed this one JP, it's looking fantastic 👌. I prefer warm white indoors, cool white in the workshop 👍.
Hello. Yes I have the cooler ones in the workshop as they seem to be brighter. Thrilled that you liked it. Regards JP
I have subscribed to
Thank you. Much appreciated. Regards JP
Walter White ❤
Hi JP. How is the length of the fence? Does it have the same length and "tippyness" of the Enjoywood set up you had before? i.e. it is a bit too long for a site saw like ours?
Hi Steven. Unfortunately yes. Both would benefit from a larger table. It works fine with my router table supporting it. Regards JP
@@Smallbarnworkshop Thanks! In that case I'm glad I decided to buy the shorter fence for my Enjoywood setup rather than upgrade to the sexy Hongdui (which was an option firmly on the table) 🤣
Cool, from festo to Trend to ryobi/deWalt, a too-slow turning makati drill on a $100+ timber table. I’m pretty sure on eBay or marketplace a router table is 50 to 100$? Or maybe he just likes making things. ..Enjoy man!
isn’t that what we do?
When ye said minium dust and started multi tooling the bits I was wondering, "Where's the cat box hoover?" And a 'few' cuts later it showed up. I'm guessing the Client made a comment or two? Nice family project JP. Waiting yer next video. That laser looks like a doss bit o kit. Take care & stay safe.
Hi Doug. Yes a bit more dust than the client wanted but she is happy with the results. Now filming EP4 and it’s looking good. Regards JP
I was a bit concerned about the toothbrushes being left out close to where all the cutting was going on. We Might be about to accidentally learn that gypsum is great for cleaning teeth! 😊
@ I have worked in the Gypsum industry for 25 years and that one isn’t a benefit. I’ve already been told off for the toothbrushes, the washing on the banister and the dressing gowns 😂 Regards JP
Another excellent video JP. The laser and the multitool certainly proved very useful!👍
Hi Roy. Thank you and they are still being used for the next part. Regards JP
Great review! I believe the three grub screws are used on the back of the miter gauge to calibrate the angle, if needed.
Hi. They are! It took me a while to figure it out though. Regards JP
I've just had to send mine back because the height adjustment stand broke when I was adjusting it for a new ceiling about 20 foot above a stone floor. Only the second time I used it. Got the Hupar now.
whoops. Regards JP

@@Smallbarnworkshop I'll give the unit it's due, it still worked but the quality of the height adjustable stand was questionable

Morning Rog. I am thrilled you enjoyed it. Part 2 and 3 are in the can. Regards JP
Oh, to have your skills.
Hi Paige.. Thank you. Regards JP
Another great video JP. I really need to take a wall down rather than put one up but still really enjoyable viewing 😊
Hi Michael. Thank you. Taking walls down is fun too. Regards JP
@Smallbarnworkshop Just a lot messier 😅
But the resulting larger room always seems bigger than the two it replaced. Regards JP
Good Video.. Good Content.. Bro Build a Shop already!!
Thank you. Still work in progress. Regards JP
Hi John Thanks for the nice video. You didn't mention that the scale for the fine adjustment is only printed on one side. So by turning the coasters you lose the scale for fine adjustment. Very disappointing.
HI. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I said you loose the index by turning. Regards JP
Evening .just seen your video as I’m looking at the evolution track and rail square . Is the square Amy good ? I have an Erbauer track saw and think this may help me get a little better at learning and give me greater capacity than my current 700mm tracks
HI. The tracks are fabulous, there is no difference between them and my Festool ones. The square is good, it does what in needs to. You would need to step up to something like the Benchdog one to better it, but then you are 5 times the price. Regards JP
that one looks good
HI Debs. Once it is set up it works great. Regards JP
These are really not hard to make- the one-way roller are available on eBay. Great to see you have the crown guard in place!
@@Tensquaremetreworkshop Hi Mike, not seen you around for a while. Hope you are well. Joinery college kind of drills in using the crown guard - and its regulations. Regards JP
Link to tool - www.banggood.com/custlink/vGGSVq4Tyz?title=Enjoywood wheeled Featherboard
I like the look of that but your link takes you to a different featherboard and doesn't look like it would fit a table saw?
Hi Paul. Many thanks for spotting that I will change it now. Regards JP
Now fixed. Thanks again. Regards JP
I made my own version of this two months ago. It really helped me out cutting 70 strips
HI. From a couple of castors? It seems a popular way. Regards JP
@Smallbarnworkshop i axtual just laser.cut my own wood casters...it clamps to the miter gauge so you can adjust left and right
Sounds a great solution. Regards JP
Thanks JP. Take care & stay safe.
HI Doug. Thanks for you view and comment as always. Regards JP
I have a Kreg jig which is great. I use screws from Triton which work well
Hi Steve. Triton screws! I didn’t know they existed, thanks for the information. Regards JP
Great cabinets, I use my K5 every now and again and the good thing with Kreg, it wasn't gripping correctly I contacted Kreg and they sent part no questions well past any warranty. you would need to order screws 2weeks in advance with my China experience
Hello. my Kreg as been reliable too probably had it 6 years. The Enjoywood is priced at a do one project and throw it in the tool box. Regards JP
JP try the UKJ screws easy to get in uk
Thank you. Regards JP
looks like the macma pocket hole
HI Debs. I don't know that but I have seen other models that look similar. Maybe the Trend (?) Regards JP
Good set of base units there. Look forward to seeing it done.
Hi Paul. Thank you. The top , front and doors may be a while off now I’ve started the bathroom. Regards JP
Had this for quite a while works great no issues
Hi George. Yes, it is a great little jig that is cheap enough to be bought for a single project. Although, it will last a lot longer than that. Regards JP
Looking good JP, thanks for the video.👍👍
Hi Terry. Thank you for watching. Regards JP
Loving this formate JP. Glad to see ye got the approval from the pup supervisor! Take care & stay safe.
Thank you Doug. She always signs off my work :-) Regards JP
Max depth of AXCALIBER cut is 23mm while BG is only 10.8mm. That could be an issue with BG, the cut would be quite shallow, only 5mm of material left above the groove, I dont thinik it would be strong enough in chipboard. Perhaps it would be possible to cut in the 1st path deeper groove with straight cutter and then cut deeper T slot with BG bit. What is the purpose of the Cutter from Amazon which groove width is 27mm while on other two is only 12.7mm? Shaft width an all 3 is very similar but wouldn't make the clamp in 27mm groove width of Amazon cutter to be too loose?
