Who makes a 16 inch bar that fits this saw ?
Sounds great now!
You never mentioned how you fixed the oiler🫤
The oiler was clogged with dust/oil, but worked fine when I cleaned it.
@@shaffersmallengineshop5957 I was hoping the video would show that part. The title kinda hints at it.
Like the Zapata T shirt.
The,late Powers Boothe as Curley Bill Brocius in Deadwood!! Shirt. from MI Tierra in San Antonio.
Same here i just bought it 1 month ago. maybe try a scouring pad.
Finally bought a new carb and that cured the issue.
Have drilled out pilot jet and will test for reduced surging this week and report.
that's a nice looking machine
I hope you didn't buy that round red stool at H.F. one of those broke while I was sitting on it. The weld is cheap. Be careful!!
Cheap, ……H.F.😂😂😂
Love the modification to this Harbour Freight jack/work stand.
Have extended about 3 inches and works best with 2x4 braces in center
Doesn’t start talking about the lock up til 7:30 in the video
Take pictures if your having trouble remembering how to reassemble what your taking apart
Great video. Same issue that I have. Thanks
Informative, this helped. interestingly enough, the ST-275 that I just got running again has a 5/16x18 SAE drive shaft on it. The Speed-Feed has an 8x1.25mm adapter to change out easily enough, and I thought it was just an oversight that they didn't have the ST-275 listed in the manual for the drive hub, until it wouldn't screw on. Got out a die set and checked it, sure enough it was SAE drive and not metric. So I made do with the original bump head for today. Would you be able to share any details of the trimmer/brush cutter gear head that you were able to connect?
thank you for sharing this information
It's actually pretty typical of most people. Run the crap out of stuff and then bring it to the shop for a cheap, cheap, cheap repair. Then if you charge them a small fee they will bitch and call you names.
Used it to fill a low spot in my yard!
That is terrible looking!
Excellent work
Thanks for the visit. My Carolina Wren chicks nesting in garage fledged yesterday!
Nice Chainsaws Greetings from Germany Peter 😎
thanks for the explanation
You're welcome
nice tool!!!
Have one of these new in the box
Decent saws!!
I have a Subaru EA190V pressure washer (Costco) about 5 years old and the pump blew up, and broke in half. A new pump came the next day via Amazon $60. But I could not get the pump off. I watched a ton of videos and they were not helpful. This went on for three days, I even jumping on a 5' steel prybar between the shaft and pump arm but it didn't budge it!!! Then I found your video and promptly bought the larger Harbor Freight "Pickel Fork" more commonly called a 16" Ball Joint Separator for $9.99 (best 10 bucks I spent) and in two minutes it was off. Thank you for the tip it worked like a charm. I followed your other advice and my pressure washer is working again. Good Job!!!!!!!
Harbor Frt !!
I’m sitting here with the same problem even to include the fact that your Carolina wren has gotten the attention of my Carolina wren lol. I don’t have a pickle fork yet and can only imagine what my Amazon search for one will return lol. Thanks for giving us an actual solution!! 💪😎👍
Currently a box of parts! Will work on it later when I run out of stuff for friends. Next step is pressure test thoroughly.
Hey Brother, I'm still waiting on a solution to get my Pull-on chainsaw runnin. Can you figure that thing out. I got trees to trim. 🥴 You can't resurrect all of em. Great video. Thanks. 😎.T
Good luck!!
You have the only real world install of this pump. All other videos on this install, the pump drops right off the shaft. thanks for showing the reality of this pump R and R. i'm going up to Hobo Freight right now. 😎
I think you made a great choice
Looks like a good generator
My personal blower like this starts on first pull, moves plenty of air and is my go to blower. Fingers crossed!!!!
The problem is a defect with the pin on the crankshaft...its can move out towards the crankcase plug. The shaft must be removed and the pin welded to the counterweight or it will come out of the counter weight agan... moving towards the crankcase plug and destroying it again.
Nice! Work smarter, not harder!
I never realized they were that tiny!
first one i have ever seen!!
We have Replacement Mulch Plug that may fit your lawn tractor. We can provide for free. Do you need?
Just pitch that saw in the dumpster where it belongs.
That sir is a Zenoah Clone saw. Wow. They are $90 all day on ebay just have crappier plastics. But they are usually the 54.5cc (58cc) cylinder. That's the smallest Zenoah cylinder. The Zenoah clones have the SAME shit filter. You can get a new intake horn & filter setup that fits it that uses a paper pleated filter. Works so much better than those nylon mesh trash.
Good info. Thanks. If I get another one of these in the shop I’ll explore new items. The plastics on the Craftsman version are excellent.
Can you supply brand and model that has the good air horn and filter? All I found is same crappy filter.
What's the filter upgrade,I just got this same saw price matched for $135
Just found your channel. You do great work. I like the mods you did to your tractor/atv lift. I got a 1000 lb. Lift table from Harbor Freight and modified the table after watching Bruce Pender of Bruce's Shop's TH-cam channel on his modification to his. He is in Canada so he lifts big snowblowers along with walk behind mowers and such. Bruce and I put a 1x2 on one end to keep from a mower from rolling off . Take a look at Bruce's channel he is a hoot to watch. Have a great day and I subscribed and will be watching you. Ray from Ohio
I subscribe to Bruce’s channel, dony boy 73, chickanic, Taryl Dactal, Steve’s saloon, HGA, etc.
thank you sharing that
Raciest piece of shit. Take that fucking flag down, and then make a video you MF.
man that looks much easier than the regular way!
Amen !
yep just got me a vintage craftsman chainsaw 2.0 / 14” and yeah it runs pretty darn good after a little tinkering.
I just got my little 2.0 craftsman that came with a 10" bar running. How large of a bar do you think I can use and have it function properly? I like the 10" for cutting limbs from ice and snow storms but can get a 14 inch bar for it. My saw is model 358.352020. I have other saws but being able to quickly add a larger bar and chain onto a saw that's already going would make less trips into my woods walking riding trails and easier to clean up around the tree stands. I only have 25 wooded acres so it's not like I have to carry it far.
Love to know your thoughts on running low ash TCw3 oils in air cooled 2 strokes given your background and Do you think going to 30 thou gap on the plug stresses the coil? Thanks Dustin
I am very luke warm on TC-W oils in air cooled engines, particularly in medium to large HP chainsaws. I made oils for Stihl, Husky, Poulan,Shindaiwa, Wal Mart et. al. And none wanted ashless ad packs. The hotter the engine, higher the load, the better the calcium additive packs perform vs nitrogen based water cooled packs. TC-W oils likely run just fine in blowers, weed eaters etc. API TC is not a high performance test rating for air cooled engines.
No, I don’t think it stresses the coil, just produces a slightly larger spark ⚡️.
@@shaffersmallengineshop5957 Thank you. I feel the same way about the tcw3. Glad your expertise confirmed it.
Forgot to mention, TC-W oils are ashless, not low ash.
@@shaffersmallengineshop5957 You should put out a detailed video on 2 stroke oils and grades and the differences. There is alot of confusion on 2 stroke oil.
This has become my “go to” blower because it is lightweight , plenty of power and STARTS FIRST PULL !!!!
Seeing a lot of these that look new for sale half or less price . Bet it is same problem
I have the same problem with my saw. What a mess. It doesn't filter anything. I don't know how to fix, but it won't run for long like that.
What do you use as an electric starter
3/8 “ drill with 1/2 “ socket.
