Bro well done❤❤❤❤❤❤
🫡
Congrats and thank you for all this piano ❤
Thanks! 🙏🏽
Wow most people can play „Für Elise“ after three years ( if they practice…) - and not even well…. how in the world can you learn so fast! It must be a special talent - or just a loooooot of ambition. I wish I had this ambition too! Really cool !
Just a lot of practice and motivation haha. Play the pieces you love and you will make progress 💪🏼
Hans Zimmer is indeed a legend. You should 100% check out "Dune - Main Thrme" by Zimmer, arranged by Patrick Pietschmann. Another AMAZING movie soundtrack
His arrangement is amazing indeed. I did one myself too if you're interested 🤝🏼
Congrats man! Erik Satie is all feeling
Thanks! For sure
Literally as i was watching i was like " I really hope this guy learns Interstellar" LOL I AM SO HAPPY
I had to 😂
Very inspiring! Motivates me to get on with it 😊
Happy to read that! Go for it 💪🏼
I feel like perhaps it would be easier to learn to read sheet music, and go from there. Memorizing all those pieces must be so difficult.
Nowadays I use sheet music to learn but I still memorize them. I feel like they stay longer in my memory if I use sheets than tutorials though haha
@luisgraca well your video was motivating for me, so thanks :)
About moonlight sonata, for those that dont realize: movement 1 is a great beginner piece, movement 3 is one of the hardest pieces there is. My goal is to learn to play and enyoy the first part, and never even try the 3rd. 😅
I just pray My parents learns
What do you mean?
Thats absolutely stunning.
Thanks!
Amazing!!!
Thanks!
I love your dedication 🎉 and you kept coming back to moonlight sonata 3rd movement.. you never give up ! Good work !!!
Thank you! I didn't learn it properly though haha, maybe one day I'll try again
This was such a beautiful history! Thanks for making this and inspiring us. I played for many years when I was young and just started to pick it up again thanks to Interstellar.
Appreciate it! Good luck on your journey 💪🏼
Did you try to play Twin Peaks?
Never played it
Keep it up bro
🫡
Poor Chopin :P .. but well practiced ..
🤣 indeed
I'm a beginner as well, and want to start practicing on my own. However, I don't know if I should first learn how to read sheet music, learn reading it while practicing with youtube tutorials, or just do youtube tutorials on their own. What would you advise?
Sorry for the delay! It depends on your goals, but here's a free PDF I wrote with all my advice - ko-fi.com/s/2fa1eaada0 Hope it helps
Congrats for your efforce and progress❤
Thank you 🤝🏼
🎉 wow
🤝🏼
The interstellar soundtrack was phenomenal
For sure! 🔥
as a classical trained pianist I could see that you learned by yourself becouse of little mistakes but I admire your consistency and discipline. Wish we could have a conversation , I´m going to release my first album too and we could share a lot of knowledge
Haha yes. Thank you, feel free to message me on instagram or discord 👍🏽
This song made me want to learn....enaudi Nuvole Bianche ❤
You and so many others. Incredible
Lots of Respekt for you man Keep ging!!!!
Thank you 🫡
It is so inspiring. I would like to restart my piano playing after 20 years. Out of curiosity, how do you remember all scores? I still can't do that after few years of playing.
Great to know you're getting back to it! I practice each piece a lot so it becomes muscle memory after a while
thank you man You are giving me hope to play, I want to play Ludivico Einaudi and Erik Satie by the end of next year and I started this month, will keep practicing everyday for at least 1 hour !! will come back in one year to update
Nice! If you'd like to share your progress with me and other self-taught learners, feel free to join my Discord - discord.gg/GpPkt6Tc - would love to see it 🤝🏼
Congratulations, you play so well. Can you tell what is your piano model? (Sorry for my English, I’m Brazilian)
Obrigado! Yamaha Clavinova CLP-745 👍🏼
Thank you so much
You kick ass. Amazing for 2 and a half years you kidding me. Amazing
Appreciate it 🤝🏼
great selection and congratulations and respect - thank you
Thank you!
This video made me cry, this progress is insane! ❤ I always wanted to learn how to play piano, but I dont have motivation from now. You’re amazing! Keep your work, I been following you in Spotify ❤❤❤❤
Thanks a lot, Karolina! I appreciate it 🙏🏽
Really good job, man, congratulations on building such a great skill!
Appreciate it!
Dude, the progress you've made is insane, i've been playing for about 1,5 years and i'm around your level at 7-9 months, congratulations, you have amazing skills!
Thank you! Keep practicing hard 💪🏼
I absolutely LOVE that song you played in public!
Haha which one? There were a few
How is this beginner? I took some piano lessons and it’s a month in I can only play Let It Be
That's pretty good!
I’m subbing because he seems to have a love of people; not just love of the practice. There is so much to learn here. He isn’t just dedicated to his practice by playing, he’s trying to spread the beauty of it so that more people can grace another’s ears, and the effects of the hearts and minds as a result of both playing, and listening. Playing an instrument is good for the mind, especially if it’s one of high aptitude due to a naturally overactive brain. If you have something akin to adhd, it’s said that your brain activity could be 7-12 times faster than average. That may sound good on the surface, but trust me, it’s actually quite miserable. A disciplined exercise, like playing an instrument, is great for you, or your children when their grades, and progress in life, generally speaking, are crawling. It isn’t always because they’re slow, it’s because it’s difficult to slow down enough to engage in common activities. If that wasn’t enough, he answers to anyone that bothers to ask. That’s rare for a video with3K comments.
Appreciate it! Around 3 years ago I went to a Ludovico Einaudi concert and I thought it was incredible how a man can inspire so many people with such simple melodies. From that moment I thought it would be great if I could do that for other people too. Through this progress video, I would like to inspire people to pick up the piano or to just dedicate themselves to whatever it is they love. Passion / love for something really does accelerate learning. I hope everyone can experience it one day. I've always found it a little sad that the people you follow / admire seem to be unreachable / won't reply, so I will keep replying to everyone as long as it's possible :)
This is amazing and inspiring. I will be turning 29 next week, and I will also begin my journey to be self-taught. I aspire to be as great as you.
Appreciate it! You can be better by not making the mistakes I made haha Check out my free self-taught piano guide here - ko-fi.com/s/2fa1eaada0
Você é brasileiro?
Português
@ , olá. Saudações do Brasil. Parabéns pela belíssima evolução. Me identifiquei com sua história. Também sou pianista autodidata e me tornei compositor. Uma dúvida. Como aprendeu a ler partitura?
hey I started piano about 3 months ago and in many other domains I have seen that doing a very hard thing again and again will boost your progression. So I am training to play Moonlight Sonata (full/ currently working on 3rd movement). I can do the first minute with both hands now. I will edit this comment with dates until I complete the song, wish me luck!
Nice! I believe it is possible too, but try to learn it better than I did, with proper technique and musicality. If you'd like to share your progress with me and other self-taught pianists, you can do so in my Discord - discord.gg/GpPkt6Tc - I would love to see you learn it all! Good luck!
You should play some songs from Animenz, he makes great and easy to play piano sheet music from anime
Easy? 😂 I love his arrangement of ashes on the fire from attack on titan. Maybe one day
so happy with the progress you made it.
Thanks 🤝🏼
I am the 3000th comment. Jesus loves yall.
Wow I didn't realise this had 3000 comments already
Yes, I can relate. Sometimes it's hard to manage it with a full time job, but you can do it if you really enjoy it. Good luck on your journey 💪🏼
Kudos mate, this is absolutely inspiring 🎉
Appreciate it 🙏🏽
Did you learned by learning any piece by heart and playing it again and again? Or played with tutorial live again and again?
Learned the notes from tutorials and memorized them
I don’t mean to hurt your confidence, but you’re attempting something far beyond your current level. People dedicate their entire lives to mastering and interpreting these pieces. It’s not just about stumbling through them; it’s about playing them with ease and artistry. You need to start at a more manageable level and gradually develop your skills. Right now, you’re putting a lot of effort into "mechanically" playing the piano, but you need to focus on soothing your approach and truly connecting with the music. This will also help you keep playing and not give up a passion before the true journey has begun. Source: Trust me ;)
Haha, I realized this after uploading this video and I started learning pieces properly. I have since uploaded a 4y progress video if you're interested in comparing them 👍🏼
2000 hours in 900 days?!! Man, I put 1200 hours into Noita and it's only been 6 months 😎
Legend 🧙🏻♂️
What Piano do you have?
Yamaha Clavinova CLP 745
one month for that, no way
Practice Nuvole Bianche / any piece you love 2h a day for at least 2 weeks and let me know how it goes. You'd be surprised
