Hi Christina, your crocheted fabric vessel looks awesome. I used to crochet fabric oval rugs and gave it up because crocheting with fabric is extremely hard on my hands. Hand stitching fabric vessels like Ariane Zurcher is my favourite. Experimenting with different methods for creating vessels is fun indeed! Love seeing your creations💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦

Hi Christina, I enjoyed listening to your memories of summer. I could relate to so much of what you said. It was amazing back in those days that we could buy a whole bag of lollies for 5 cents! My favourite thing in summer, besides swimming in the pool or at the beach, was buying a glug or a sunnyboy from the school canteen or at the local pool. I think they were only about 5 cents too. And sometimes you were lucky enough to win a "lucky" (a free one). Your strawberries look great - I still grow them and love eating them 🍓🍓🍓

Hi Christina, making fabric vessels is so fun. I’ve tried making the round bowl shape like Kate makes, but prefer the shape of a circle with a rectangle sewn around it. A circle shaped base with a flat piece sewn onto it seems to sit up better for me rather than flop over. Ariane’s abstract stitching is interesting to watch (I stumbled upon her videos when I was looking into Sue Spargo‘s stitching). Art journalling was also so fun to do in the past and those prompt cards of yours will give you hours of creating.💕🪡🧵🇨🇦
