May I know what kind of app you use？OPCPN?

It will be more easy to swing to port .open with spring. Then stop engine then let go spring fwd then engine astern then bowthruster to port when ship move astern stop engine. Minimum ahead .hard to port the wheel with always bowthruster to port .it will be more easy. Good luck captain
