It is so so uplifting,, so different from so many romantic films .. I have to admit that I am in tears every time I watch it

Seems like there is always something new to discover in this brilliant film. I just cannot help commenting again. At 29:33-34, as Connor and Jayden kiss, the glow of the spotlight among all those columns seems to suddenly ignite as they kiss. The symbolism of this is very shrewd without being heavy-handed or, worse, a saccharine cliche. I like to think that each time two young men fall in love and become a couple, a star, somewhere in the cosmos, ignites. I suppose the film means this, and so much more, to me because my high school and college years did not afford the possibility of such love as you have depicted in this film. My desires could not then be openly expressed, although I was bullied for being a "fairy" even when I did not disclose it. Thank you for letting me experience, at least vicariously, what real Love could have been like.

I have seen both recent films of Romeo and Juliet (the one with Olivia Hussey, and the one with Clare Danes); and in my freshman year of high school, the English class I took did a full reading of the play (no costumes or props, just voices), a very close and analytical reading. And yet, after all that, I would rather view this magnificent Love Story about Connor and Jayden. Shakespeare 's R & J doesn't seem real; but Connor and Jayden are, in my opinion, so authentically and artistically enacted that they contain a reality too beautiful for words.

Such a beautiful story.

I was so ready for Connor to be scared of coming out especially since he is from football thank god it was a smooth one. And just for a second Connor is more gay than Jayden but ya they look good together

Love this film! Such a comfort, yet for me, sad - as being gay when I came out was a potential life threatening sentence. This film shows that loving someone is just what it is! LOVE! So accepting, so pure, so well written, produced, and presented! Great acting!!!!!! Loved it!!!! Thank you so much for presenting a fact that gay men are capable of loving each other. Tears of joy!

Troy Hatt plays "Obnoxious" well: as "Cameron" in "Connor and Jayden," he nailed it. How about giving him a different role next time, maybe as a guy with a wicked sense of humour who has his heart broken, masks that with his humour in public, cries in private, and in the end finds real love! He's so handsome yet has that impish grin! That's just a thought.

Both actors are talented and I think that they both could have played the role of Jayden. However, I believe the casting director made the correct choice in choosing Ty for the role of Jaden and Christian, for the role of Connor. Christian’s look and physicality read, the confident jock football player. And Ty’s look reads sensitivity, acceptance, yet cutting.
