    I think you spoke at my high school's biology class as an alumni. I don't want to "expose" you publically so I'll just leave it at that, but I believe my teacher called you "the cream of the crop." So if you don't mind me asking, what was your grade 12 average? Because I know people rave about the wonders of studying effectively, but honestly I just think you've always been smart. My studying isn't perfect but I try my best and use effective methods, however, my grades aren't there. At first I bought into the idea that if you study right you can achieve any goal, especially during the pandemic with grade inflation, but now I know that people are simply smarter than others and that I can never get close to other people's grades even though all I do is try. I don't think anyone should buy into the idea that "anything is possible," especially at a university like uoft.

    • @brandonnnyu
      @brandonnnyu 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      lool thank you for that haha but I don't think your teacher was referring to my grades. i got low 80s in all stem courses (bio, chem, physics, maths) but my average was pulled up with my two electives which i got high 90s on. I'm sure if you have study strategies that work for you, anything is possible. my university average is higher than my highschool average, which came from a change in study habits and techniques :) good luck with everything and don't be too hard on yourself!
