9 goes insanely hard compared to the rest but they are all solid

All of them are epic, but there’s only one boss track that made me actually fear for my life, and that title belongs to Lord Mortamor. Man, I felt like I was physically in danger the first time I got to the final phase and heard that. (Most epic goes to DQ11 version of Zoma, of COURSE. Corvus honorable mention.)

Dragon quest 3 final boss theme is of course heroic, it’s not zoma’s theme, it’s yours, which is why the remastered version is used in dragon quest ix after calasmos becomes able to be hurt, it’s not their fight to win, it’s your fight to lose.

Its amazing when you realise most of these soundtracks were used in Dragon Quest Dai Old Anime!
