How To Convert Dayton Style "Mobile Home" Wheels to Stud Pilot Trailer Wheels!
Do you have an old trailer with Dayton style (mobile home) hubs? I was blowing tires out every time I used this trailer! After 10 years, I decided to upgrade to a modern standard trailer tire set up. In this video, I show the basics of how I did it. This is a very simple video showing how you can do it too!

Finally a good brief demonstration on a 10 speed transmission
Thank, that was a well made video.
6:55 for quick viewing. GREAT VIDEO
Wish you could have shown the flow of both hoses being run at the same time. What does the pressure look like, is it cut in half?
I've been driving a 2001 gmc c6500 with a cat 3126, with this same exact transmission. I had to use your video to show my boss it doesn't hurt the truck to shift how I do when it's unloaded hahaha. I shift 2L,3L,4L,4H,5H. when loaded I split 3rd. he insisted on leaving the axle in high when unloaded, I just don't see a reason to do it that way
side note, I had no idea when downshifting you're supposed to shift the transmission then the axle lol. thanks for teaching me that
Going to look at a truck with this transmission and needed to find a video for a refresher course. Great representation for visual learners
Are you really Paul Schraders Cousin?
You just don’t see trucks with dogs any more. Always thought they were a brilliant invention.
Did you consider using ram pumps instead? Not sure how long you’ll be running that small engine every week or if gas expense is even a consideration. Using 2 or 3 ram pumps through some drip irrigation would give your new trees all the moisture they need 24/7 if necessary for free. No gas or solar or electric needed.
Where does he get current for the ram pump in a pond

One of these machines that looks an awful lot like yours, just ended up off of the edge of the road and in a field in Silverwood, MI this year. I saw a couple of fellas working on it a few weeks ago and as last week, it didn't appear to be moved. I don't know anything about this machine, and that is why I did an Internet search and found your video. If I see it being worked on again, I will stop to learn more about it.
You still running the old 950?
Drove 2 spd axles many yrs. The 2 spd gear not that heavy. Dont use hi range in 1st or 2nd gear on hard pulls.. ive seen several twisted in two. Ask any truck mechanic.
Did you know that a lake can be deepened using a motor pump? You can assemble a mini dredger from two motor pumps. One motor pump for dirt and a third motor pump for hydraulic loosening. Bottom sediments are pumped out using a Bagermaster suction nozzle. You can pump up to 12 cubic meters of sand per hour. And up to 6 meters deep
Amazing, thanx
i do agriculture this way , have one hooked up to a drip system and another one with wobblers (sprinklers)
Trailer was definitely a bit narrow for the undercarriage of the machine but it could have been a lot worse during the unload. Beautiful machine though. Sorry for the critique lol 😂 would have been nice to know the swing lock was actually working!! Shit happens. 👍
thank you
I got a 91 Chevy bus with a 366 small block and a 4 speed split shifter and this helped a TON
These aren't preheat-- so why do they start like that?
Dusk to dawn sensor!
R you going to sale it
What are the ratios of this 2 speed axle?
Thanks for your videos, I will like to see a video of assembling the irrigation pipes for all pumps
That old girl really looks nice, not many around this many years that still look that clean. Looks like a really good buy.
Congratulations! I would like too.
Your thumbnail got me. "What is wrong with that guys finger?" Video starts, "oh it's a two speed switch." 😆
A beautiful 25-B! I am curious: Looks like a dragline is not as portable as an excavator. It also looks like a dragline can do some things more efficiently than an excavator. For contracting jobs, how does portability enter in to the project?
Thanks. Please enjoy your new toy
My city still has these everywhere but sadly they don't get used anymore
Very cool! What city are you in?

When you pulled up it looked small........when you pulled away it looked huge! Happy New Year everyone! tHanks for the video
Fun video. tHanks for posting...Happy New Year everyone!
I do like this machine.Years back we had one much like this in a sand and gravel pit.
What is the advantage of these machines? Is it the reach and swing...or that they can work near water? tHanks
Super 10
Just got this pump, and answered a lot of my questions. Thanks , great video.
100% need too put a board crossing at the base where the pintle chain rides. You already underbuilt the spacer with only 2x4. Get some PT and go 2x8. Those little 2x4 stubs aren't holding anything if things go south, not to mention they way it's built the spacer or the hopper can shift and the stubs would no longer be aligned with the pintle chain base thing.(metal part)
Was looking at water pumps but that drag line is 🔥
Is for sale
Looking in very good condition mate well done
Thank you Bro. Is it normal for these trucks to make a LOT OF NOISE? my 1991 split shift GMC Gas power top kick makes a LOT OF NOISE when im split shifting.
Got a 50 F6 and 61 F600 both have 4 and 2s
Very cool
basically super 10 speed
Drove a lot of grain trucks back in the 70's. Usually split second gear, shifted 3L 4L 5L and 5H. Like a 6 speed. Worked out well most of the time. Didn't really need to split every gear.
Once I’m moving, I don’t use the clutch anymore. I only use the clutch for stop and go.
Thankyou for this video ❤
I have an opertunity too buy one of these.its in much Ruffer shape.comes with clam shell and drag bucket also a 3 part block and a cable operated excavator boom for 5000.00
Not a great idea to walk under the boom, especially on one that has set up a long time. They have been known to fall on people, more often than we would think.
I live in lansing
Looks like a cream puff
Very nice machine, should clean up and dig several Dozen tanks👍
